This hotel is a gem. It is a joy to stay here. The building itself is historically fascinating, and it has been intelligently restored to preserve its charming, ancient décor and features, and simultaneously to ensure that it provides top-notch modern conveniences and cleanliness. On successive visits, year after year, one can see that these high standards are rigorously maintained. The establishment is run with impressive efficiency, thoughtfulness and professional expertise by a formidably energetic manageress. The rooms are impeccably "done" every day by the hotel's maids, who obviously take pride in their work. An excellent breakfast is provided. Finally, the hotel's superb position in the heart of old Eglisau, directly overlooking the Rhine, gives its guests immediate access to the lovely, grassy beach along the river, which is a haven of serenity. Swimming safely in the surprisingly warm water of the Rhine during July and August, in that gorgeous setting, is an unforgettable experience.

Very nice and helpful staff. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. About 7km from the airport (bus stop nearby the hotel). Clean room, equipped with a basic elements and wi-fi. Nice and well organized restaurant.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They somehow hit the balance between noticing and asking, if you need something, and not annoying you with too much attention. The food in the restaurant was great.

The Hotel is quite new. It opened for business in November 2023. My room was in perfect condition. Everything new.
Also I liked the free parking and the very friendly and helpful staff at the reception.

The apartment was one of a kind. It was big and had everything anyone could want - sauna, grill, indoor firepit, piano, etc. Great for making memories with a group. Hosts were extremely friendly
It's a 20-minute drive from Rhine Falls. It's a 10-minute drive from the German border. I recommend if you want to enjoy water sports quietly on the Rhine. Since it is a very small village, there is nothing to see or enjoy other than playing in the water.
The breakfast was truly amazing, there is a fridge full of food that you can freely choose from plus wide range of beverages that you can buy. The staff was marvelous and always ready to help, I checked in like 4 hours early and they let me leave my things there until the room was ready. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and I slept like a baby, the location is in the centre of old town and having an evening walk there is just like a fairytale, overall I'm giving this hotel 10/10, it was just perfect!
The location of the hotel was right next to the road, so I was worried about car noise, but the soundproof system was really perfect, so I could relax all day long.
There is no front desk, but communication is easy and fast by phone and email and all necessary explanations are written in the room.
It is good to stay with dog (20 franc per night) because the riverside is close by.
It is such a nice apartment, located in the heart of beautiful Eglisau with great walking, hiking and running tracks on your doorstep. Swimming in the Rhine also.
The hosts were the best though and they really made my stay in Eglisau memorable. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
We like riverside which is 5 min walkable from hotel. Room size are good with balcony. Service is good. Overall good value for money. If you are looking for hotel away from city probably this is good option.
