The town is very small so it's very easy to get around.
The town is very small so it's very easy to get around. The town itself is very nice and clean, there are lots of flowers. The views are stunning. The hotel guests are provided with passes allowing to use the cable cars to go up the mountains for hiking or just walking. The same passes also provide free access to the town swimming pool.

We stayed for six days in Champery in January for skiing in Portes-du-Soleil. The ski resort is huge. We were able to never do the same run and lift three days in a row. Champery is a historic Suisse alpine village with nicely presented shops, bars and restaurants. Expect to spend approx +30% in Switzerland on everything - especially food. Be prepared that some shops take only cash and impose any cash withdrawal fees on you.

Champery is a quiet, pretty little Swiss village on the edge of a stunning ski area. There is ample choice of small restaurants in the village and once you are up the mountain (via chairlift or telepherique) you have access to one of the largest lifted ski areas in the world.
If the snow is not great, there is actually very little to do in the village in winter, so keep that in mind.

Biggest skiing region in Europe.
Biggest skiing region in Europe. More than 600km of slopes of all levels of difficulty (even green ones :), appx 100km in Switzerland, 500km in France.
Fantastic mountain scenery.
Swiss chalets all over …
An amazing location with outstanding views. Second to none. Staff were great. We arrived very late and missed the restaurant, but staff were able to provide bread, ham and cheese and two left over deserts despite the kitchen being shut.
Would loved to have stayed longer than one night to enjoy the hotel and views. Also excellent beer!
I loved the experience at the Beau Séjour hotel all the way. Honestly this hotel is absolutely fantastic. From the charm and design of the room, the style of the spa center, the incredible restaurant and the exceptional breakfast buffet, all in front of les Dents du MIDI. Magic !🤩
