I chose this hotel for the great location and second because there are EV chargers. These EV chargers were not the best but they did the work after several hours. I saw they are installing more EV chargers but they didn’t work at the time I was there. Hopefully next time they will be ready.

I absolutely loved my 4 night stay at the Victorian Hotel, it's such a beautiful building and the whole place is so stylishly decorated, and immaculately clean. I had a room with its own bathroom and it was huge and the shower was fantastic.
Lovely helpful staff. I stored my bags when I arrived early in the morning.
An opening window!! I really appreciate being able to get some fresh air.
Little fridge and tea making in the room with plenty of milk supplied.
Comfy bed and pillows. Nice arm chair to sit in.
The heaters are so pretty.
Location is great, easy walk to city centre, heaps of transport, Gastown nearby. After I checked out it was an easy walk with my luggage to the cruise terminal.
I don't know why this hotel is listed as 3 star, I presume it's because some rooms have shared bathroom, but if you book a room with its own bathroom it's definitely a 4 star hotel.

An outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, Vancouver is sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. The most famous peak, Grouse Mountain is a favourite spot for hiking and skiing. Take the cable car up for magnificent views of the city's skyscrapers and huge Stanley Park.
Skirting this park is the Seawall, a popular biking trail with paths passing the Vancouver Aquarium, picnic spots and a pitch ‘n’ putt course. There are also a couple of beaches, but the best ones are along English Bay in Kitsilano.
Granville Island is just across False Creek from Yaletown and houses some quirky shops and markets. Ferries depart from here to near BC Place Stadium and home ground of the city’s football and American football teams. The legendary Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play next door at Rogers Arena.

Beautiful place, the city have a nice balance between nature and civilization. Many shops and malls, a ton different culture so there is a lot of restaurant with different origins. The people are polite and the transport system is good enough to get you anywhere you want.
The next time I would avoid going on raining season. It rains a lot.

We were essentially visiting old friends.
We were essentially visiting old friends. We did some exploring of downtown. Granville Market, crowded, but it was a Saturday. The best thing we found was the public transit system. Their daily compass card was a bargain as it allowed us multiple trips including the water bus between Vancouver and North Vancouver. A restaurant bar to not be missed is Rogue Kitcen and Wet Bar 601 Cordoba St in Gastown area. The food court at City Center Market is wonderful. Looking forward to a trip there in the future, again.

I love the view of mountains and water in Vancouver. Lots of areas to visit, and lots of places to visit for eating. The gardens are really pretty. Taking ferries to get to various areas is a great way of transport. I would recommend to stay possibly on Vancouver Island or set off really early, as we hit traffic getting to Twassen so had to wait another hour for next ferry. Enjoyed what we did though.

A great city for walking, clean and well designed, loved the library and small contemporary art gallery near Yaletown. Vancouver playhouse only steps away from our hotel. We also found a tasty ice cream shop.

Vancouver has one of the best city settings that I have seen...
Vancouver has one of the best city settings that I have seen in my life. The combination of water and mountains surrounding the city is unbeatable, every time you walk out of the hotel you can see some new angles and awesome views. The city itself is OK, I walked a fair bit around it, but I found it a bit confusing. Like shopping options - personally I have found them very limited and only after I reached Park Royal shopping centre in West Vancouver I found more varied options. Definitely the highlights for me in the city were: Granville Island, Rogers Arena (or seeing a live hockey game, to be precise), Seawall and Gastown had its charm too. If I would visit Vancouver again, I would definitely plan more activities around the town than inside it. Things that I definitely did not enjoy about it was tremendous amount of constant noise from all directions, amount of car traffic everywhere, loads of homeless people and very visible drug users all around city centre. If you have time during your Vancouver visit, go and drive to place like Squamish, it's only an hour away from the city but it's much calmer, quieter and greener. Also I could not recommend more booking a whale watching trip (mine was with Price of Whales), it's worth every penny. Overall, surroundings of the city made bigger impression on me than city itself, but definitely a place worth visiting at least once.

Walk the area, go up the observation tower, cycle Stanley Park (hiring is easy and cheap) visit Capilano Suspension Bridge, walk around the waterfront and Coal Harbour, get a lazy lunch at Joeys watching a game, go see the Canucks at Rogers Arena. All done in 2 full days but lots more to do no doubt
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room-cleaning was exceptional and housekeeping needs to be congratulated for this! The breakfast buffet was very adequate. At first I was concerned at the location as I had expected a downtown hotel. However, it ended up being an ideal location, surrounded by many eateries, stores, supermarkets, near the Metro to downtown, and a wonderful waterfront walkway, which led to Granville Island and beyond. I would definitely recommend the location as it gave me more personal choice and independence.
The Victorian Hotel is a cozy hotel in downtown Vancouver, close to Gastown and the harbor. The beds are very comfortable! The rooms have a very comfy vibe with the hardwooden floors and partly antique furniture. I didn't mind at all that my room had a shared bathroom. The bathrooms on the floor were very large, clean. I actually preferred it this way to having my own tiny bathroom. The staff is very friendly and accomodating with an excellent eye for detail. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I return to beautiful Vancouver.
Loved the hotel's location which was close to metro (two lines), restaurants, has a large salted pool and gym, and near high-end stores. You are treated very well, as you would expect from a 5 star hotel, and the beds are very comfortable. Vancouver is one of the best cities I ever visited in Canada and there are a lot of things to do inside and outside of the city. Famous celebs and dignitaries have stayed here, so why not you. If I ever get back to British Columbia, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia will be my first choice. Cheers.
This hotel is awesome! We will be back for sure. Right from the start we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who came to our car and offered us a luggage cart, and set us up for the parking garage. The staff at the front desk were lovely as well. We were able to park our car, and check in early so we could do some exploring before the hockey game at Rogers arena which is just steps away. Nespresso machine in the room was awesome, a very clean and comfortable stay. 10/10 recommend, a very affordable hotel for downtown Vancouver.
Updated and modern hotel. Great location in a nice part of Downtown Vancouver, close to the waterfront. Nice remodeled room that I stayed in (#605). A big window in my room giving a lot of natural daylight into the room. Furniture in nice condition. Very comfortable Queen Bed. Nicely designed flawless bathroom with a big deep bathtub. High quality bathroom amenities. Fast Wi-Fi.
Excellent location, right across from Yaletown metro, super easy to get to/from Vancouver airport, although be aware if driving there is very limited parking at the front of the hotel, so its a bit of a drop and dash if you need to unload luggage. Surrounding area also has plenty of great restaurants, and its a short walk down to false river ferries. Room was also comfortable.
Outstanding location for Vancouver cruise passengers. The hotel is right by the Canaday Cruise Terminal. We disembarked from a cruise ship there and then check in at the hotel. After 3 days of lay over, we embarked on another cruise ship on the same cruise terminal. One good thing is, the hotel luggage department will deliver your luggages to the cruise line for you.
staff was fantastic. Chai was so accommodating
food was delicious. Jade made the best cookies and breakfast.
Location was exceptional, just about 20 minutes walk to Granville Island and English bay. the sunset that day was spectacular.
and of course few minutes walk to downtown Vancouver.
Great experience. I will definitely come back.
This is a great hotel choice if you’re visiting downtown Vancouver. It’s walking distance to everything with great views of the city. The staff is friendly and service oriented. The restaurant is excellent. The pool and hot tub was an added bonus. I felt safe and cared for at this hotel.
Opus Hotel is located in an excellent neighbourhood ~ close to downtown Vancouver, surrounded by many eateries and public transport (the airport train station is just across the street). Our room was spacious, well lit and comfortable and serviced daily. Staff were friendly & helpful.
Very comfortable, staff were great. Much better hotel than Hampton Inn and Suites which I stayed at as part of the Rocky Mountaineer trip. I was wishing I was back at Blue Horizon all night.
A lovely part of Vancouver downtown also with a great choice of restaurants and shops .
Best location in West End. Close to false creek Ferry/Granville Island, English Bay, Yaletown. Very walkable neighborhood. Spacious suites with balcony. Staff makes you feel like home. Forget the big box hotels! This is where you want to be in Vancouver!!
The check in experience was awesome. The front desk staff went above and beyond in giving plushy souvenirs to my kids on check in. It was definitely an extra surprise for the kids. The location of the hotel is awesome to explore downtown Vancouver.
This hotel is a gem in downtown Vancouver. The location is excellent, literally 2 minutes from Canada Line skytrain. The bed is very comfortable, comparable to Westin’s heavenly bed. The room is newly renovated, very clean and surprisingly quiet.
JW Marriot is hands down the best hotel in Vancouver. My partner and i were treated like royalty during our stay for our anniversary. Would highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone seeking extra comfort, luxury, and pampering!
Luxurious hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Friendly staff, comfortable room, modern design and finishes. Complimentary turndown service is a nice touch.
