Fredrick is a wonderful host. Brought us a memory to live in a 17th-century cozy room, a backyard with fantastics seaview. A totally different accommodation experience, worth a try. Yummy breakfast, food source originated from the island.

We stayed there with a group of friends (3) and the room was decorated "Ameridien", very friendly and welcoming. There was no one else on the property so it was super quiet.

The breakfast was very good and the method of delivery very unique! it is put in the fridge and in the morning you put it into a picnic basket which you can then take anywhere on the property, our preference was the terrace.

The island is bigger than we thought and has several villages, each with their own houses and churches. It's very calm in winter and a great get away still quite close from Quebec city if you have a car!

Such a nice island!
Such a nice island! I recommend planning to visit on sunny days. We got one day of sunshine which was so fun and one day of rain which made it difficult to find activities to do. Overall amazing place to visit, so much charm. Make sure to go on a Friday or weekend, as everything was closed on a Tuesday. A few things were open on Wednesday. I recommend going cider tasting, taking a scooter around the island (MUST - rent Scooter from motel île d’Orléans), picnicking with cheeses from a local fromagerie, walking by the beach, and tasting local products as much as possible!

The view was memorizing, the tide differential in fathoms is 5.3 meters. Constantly something different to look at. You can hear the freighters/tankers before you see them. Real was very helpful in identifying places to eat. When I woke up in the morning to dining in a room surrounded by exquisite folk art along w/exceptional Canadian painters work I thought I was in a dream. Sebastian is a true professional hotelier. No detail is overlooked.
Location overlooking St Lawrence was lovely. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and our room had a terrace with table and chairs overlooking the river.
Hotel restaurant was exceptional. Food was high quality and creative.
Linens and towels were good quality and plentiful. Coffeemaker and small fridge in room.
Decent size swimming pool available for guests.
The view from the balcony, across the Saint Lawrence river was amazing. And the hotel was super quiet too. Just what we needed after moving around for 14 days and 5 cities that we had covered.
Loved this boutique hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River. Staff was super friendly. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable.
