The location on the river was lovely.

The location on the river was lovely. Stayed in the hotel which was cozy, I am sure the cottages are wonderful. Peaceful, clean, comfortable. The only thing that was missing was the restaurant which has not reopened since covid.

The Shakespearean Garden was a flowering delight. The Sr. Lawrence Shakespearean Festival outdoor auditorium was a happy surprise. So I canceled other plans and stayed the night, taking in 12th Night. Met some friendly folk while I was having coffee at Katherine’s Tea Room. All in all, a lovely surprise on my way home.

Nice town to walk around. Beautiful view along the riverside. You can easily spend hours just take the sunbathing. We were there on Sunday (labour day long weekend) and really enjoyed the morning musical performance.

If you like the quiet, calm stay in place to reset, unwind...

If you like the quiet, calm stay in place to reset, unwind and create the perfect atmosphere for r snd r this little town had it all and then some. We had several fantastic meals in town with excellent and friendly service and top notch food. For a couple of foodies (And one with special dietary needs) Prescott and nearby Brockville did not Disappoint. We enjoyed our walk along the waterfront and frequented some of the boutiques in aBrockville. On a rather laid back plight for bestie indulgence we gained everything we could want snd more, as well as finding numerous other things to put on the bucket list for the future.

I enjoyed how close we were to merrikville and Brockville. Unhappy that we paid to have breakfast included and because of Covic they closed the kitchen but no ever provide alternative for breakfast or credit.

Spending such a short time there and with the Covid-19 protocols in place we spent more time outside which was excellent with walking paths and places to be by the riverfront. Want to relax, then Prescott offers this to the traveler.

We find it a good stopover when we are traveling east. This was our second visit. The location is right on the St. Lawrence River. The garden area leading to the deck area is lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the Muskoka chairs along the edge of the river. Dewar's Inn is located about a 3-4 minute drive from Prescott. A continental breakfast is also included. So great value 😃
