Canalside Restaurant, Inn & Kitchen Store, hotel in Port Colborne

Located along the Canal on Port Colborne's historic West Street, this hotel is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and beaches. The apartment has views of the bridge and free WiFi access.

Location was great. The ten percent discount was good. However we felt a little uncomfortable about sitting outside the restaurant at a table to relax and enjoy ourselves. Had there been chairs by the curb we would have been able to sit there. I can understand that we were taking up a table that people would have ordered from but we were left with no chairs elsewhere. I really feel that our bed should have been made and the garbage taken out in the morning. You have a little gold mine as you were always busy. Congratulations on your success. We will return. Thank you

Hipwell's Motel, hotel in Port Colborne

A microwave and mini refrigerator are offered in each guest room at this Pelham motel. Marineland Canada is 15 mi away. A cable TV is provided in the air-conditioned rooms at Hipwell's Motel.

Our stay at Hipwell's motel was very pleasant. It is in a quite town very close to Niagara fall (30 minute) and Toronto(90 minute). The care takers Chris and his wife are very nice and welcoming. The room was big enough for our family of four. We would definitely recommend anyone visiting Niagara fall.

Port Coloborne is a great getaway.

Port Coloborne is a great getaway. The downtown is so quaint. There are amazing, unique shops along the iconic West Street. Great restaurants all within walking distance. Sweet shops and bakeries are perfect for a mid afternoon or late evening treat. You are right at the heart of Bridge 21 and can watch ships go through the Welland Canal all day long. Walk just 15 minutes north to Lock 8 Park and see the ships go through the locks. Walk 15 minutes south to the beautiful marina. Walk 20 minutes (or drive, there's lots of parking everywhere) and there are dozens of great antiques shops and other unique shopping experiences. In the centre of downtown is the historical village, recreating buildings and accommodations of early Port Colborne days. Beautiful Nickel Beach is also within walking distance if you choose.

It's a great little town. We live in St.

It's a great little town. We live in St. Catharines so seeing great lakes boats is not a new experience but seeing them as they enter and exit Lake Erie is a great experience. Our room looked right out on the canal and was very nice. We will visit again when we have more time to see the shops and hit the beach. I think Port Colborne has a lot to offer!!

Beautiful, well kept home on a private lot. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces, especially the outdoor gazebos with furniture and fire table to relax. Many things were provided which made our trip much easier. Paper goods, coffee, bottled water. The owner met us upon arrival and went over everything that the property had to offer and how to use amenities and where everything was located. Property was near the beach and a place to launch our kayaks, which was awesome.

The motel was fantastic Everything was perfectly clean. We enjoyed a lot the swimming pool, very clear, and the staff was awesome, very nice and very careful about us. We had the surprise to find some more fresh bottles of water in the fridge and fresh orange juice when we came back in our room at the end of the afternoon. Thanks a lot for these 2 amazing days. We would love to come back. The best hotel we have ever been to.😃

What a pleasant surprise! Such a cosy and clean place to stay. There was complimentary coffee, water, pure orange juice, cookies and cereal bars waiting for us. The owner is a very kind person. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable. There were 2 tables to have a snack at. We had a very good sleep. We will definitely choose this hotel if we come to this region. Thank you!

In this continuing age of COVID 19 excuses by some hotels/motels as to why a breakfast is no longer included in the price, it was a quaint surprise to at least see a small basket of oatmeal cookies and granola bars along with 2 bottles of water and orange juice in the refrigerator in our room. Something is better than nothing.

This looks like a typical strip motel from the road, but the rooms are better equipped and more comfortable than the average high priced city/chain hotel. Very quiet. Also very quiet HVAC unit. Good value for money. Would stay there again when in the area.

One of the best motels we've stayed in - clean, comfortable, friendly staff. There were even free treats in the fridge, orange juice etc. You got the sense that owner went the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
