One of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. It was raining so I didn't get a chance to sit in the outside areas but they looked great. Perfectly met our needs.

We loved this cabin because it felt very private and had a great view of the lake! It's perfect for a private couples' getaway. The Tally Ho is always clean and I would recommend everyone stay here. We don't have dogs but love that they are pet-friendly and look forward to bringing our future dog here.

The main lobby in the main building was very classy. Lots of luggage carts. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
It all circles around nature. Great lake, connected to the Oxtongue River and waterfalls, but otherwise, not much other than enjoying the surroundings. Beautiful sunrise if in the west coast, I can imagine sunset may be great too from the east coast.
It may get a little bit noisy as HW60 runs just next to it, with sporadic heavy trucks.
Ensure you have a way of transportation as you will need it to get to restaurants, or any other local attractions.

Location was great however beds were terrible to sleep on.
Location was great however beds were terrible to sleep on. Also I'm 5'2 and could barely take a proper shower...not sure how a bigger person would manage in there as showers are ridiculously tiny.

Perfect location, only 10 mins drive from the west gate.
Perfect location, only 10 mins drive from the west gate. Cottage is located in pine woods, beside the lake. Beautiful environment. Nice facilities, kitchen, bbq, shower. Canoe, kayak, paddle boat free for use. Price is great for the location. Friendly staff.
The location near Algonquin Park and on Oxtongue lake is excellent. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to self cater and has a gas barbecue. The cottage has access to free kayaks and paddle-boards and is next to a beach for the cottages with sun loungers and fire pits (you just need to bring your own wood). A park permit can also be purchased onsite.
Perfectly situated at Oxtongue Lake. We enjoyed the view from the cabin onto the lake, looks spectacular with morning mist. All windows of the cabin are prepared against mosquitos so that there were no insects inside the cabin (we were in June).
We loved the most the free use of canoe or kayak any time. Very often we went paddling for a hour in the evening.
Place was very nice and clean when we arrived. Location was perfect, right in front of the lake. Cabin had everything that you need for a weekend. Very easy to use the bbq. Very close to West entrance of Algonquin park.
Great location for the west side of Algonquin Provincial Park.
Overlooking Oxtongue Lake. Close to Dwight for supplies and gas.
Quiet at this time of year, midweek.
