The hostess did respond to our request for a cleaner , quieter room . This was good and made our stay acceptable . The offering of a noisy ( on highway)and rather dingy room up front that didn’t look like the auberge on booking . Com really put off my husband .

The front staff gentleman was excellent, friendly and very cheerful. The gentleman in the kitchen was so friendly, he advised you of everything available to eat he even made my husband pancakes. It is always nice to wake up to friendly faces first thing in the morning.

This is why you choose a B&B over a hotel. The B&B is an old stone farmhouse with thick walls built in the late 19th century, surrounded by farm-land. The hosts are lovely and thoughtful; they’re very welcoming and warm both to us and our children. The bedrooms are comfortable and spotless, the breakfast is included and delicious, there is a pool with a gorgeous view and a barn with ping-pong, darts and a swing. Basically a great place for a family and only 45 mins from Montreal. Highly recommend and hope to return.
