The view is stunning, we could see whales from our room, the place is well equipped with everything that you may need, beds are super comfortable, outside the condo the place is well organized and managed , there are chairs outside to sit and enjoy the view, there are trails to walk either down to the water or up to rocks where you can have even a better view for whales watching. Highly recommended.

This is Cote-Nord and Les Escoumins is a town much smaller than Tadoussac. If you are looking for a quiet time and some great views, this is a good place to stay in. Also there is a choice of whale watching activities, although they all go back to almost Tadoussac anyway. Now, it is a really really small town. In 3 days you will visit all 3 restaurants there if you manage to get a place - none of them seems to be taking any reservations. There is one grocery store which I can recommend as a good place to grab some lunch and eat near the water. Overall, it is a good place for 2-3 day vacation.
The hotel is located a short distance from the ferry and is close to various restaurants so the fact that the hotel's dining room was closed did not impact us too much. The grounds were clean and offered several outdoor sitting areas to take in the views.
