The location was great. It is one of the only hotels in this location so there are not many options. They have a nice nordic spa which was the highlight.

Offering a restaurant and bar on site, Mount Engadine Lodge is located in Spray Valley Provincial Park in Kananaskis. A scenic view of the mountains is available. Free WiFi access is provided.

The lodge was so cozy and beautiful and had amazing views. The glamping tents were the perfect size, comfortable and so cozy! It was amazing to be able to stay in a such a secluded and beautiful area of kananaskis. The food was incredible and you never go hungry! Met some wonderful people as well, both staff and other guests. There’s no wifi in the tents which is great, and wifi in the lodge if you need it. The service was fantastic. Overall, I had the best stay. I would come back here time and time again.

Great hostel, perfect location to the highway, and all the hikes that surround the facility. Staff was great & welcoming, and kept fires going. It' was a wonderful time, shared kitchen and living room made great conversations and smells. Everyone seemed to have been to hostels before, people are self sufficient!

This facility has lots to offer but it was crowded with families with kids - and the pool and hot tub area was so full there were no towels available and piles of used towels everywhere . It would be nice to visit in the summer or Fall to use the trails and other amenities as well . The drive in winter with new snow was a bit iffy as there were a few cars that ended up off the road .

Love the area, hotel and Nordic Spa.

Love the area, hotel and Nordic Spa. The pathways for walking are terrific. It’s not inexpensive so be prepared. Booking the Nordic Spa is difficult and for the amount one spends at the hotel, some spots should be kept open for hotel guests or purchased by the hotel for their guests to buy.

I loved the Chalet look of the rooms in Mount Kidd.

I loved the Chalet look of the rooms in Mount Kidd. The kids swimming area is really for under 9 years of age. The steam room is super hot, benches are uncomfortablely hot wet stone. Hot tub is warm. Outdoor dry sauna is cool. the fitness room is great as is the table tennis. The restaurants are booked up fast, but take out is an option. They have Cross country ski and skate rentals. I personally would stay not stay again as we live only one hour away. The outdoor activities are amazing which is why we would in the future come for the day and evening only.

It was very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful.

It was very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Even though there was so much nature outside to explore we loved staying in our room with the fireplace and enjoying the view. We did get out and skate on the small rink in the centre of the village. The village is very romantic for couples but still perfect for families.

The hotel check-in /check out staff were friendly and efficient. The housekeeping staff take pride in their work making sure the rooms and hallway areas are clean and tidy. Rooms are well appointed and exceptionally comfortable. The Blacktail Pub and Forte Restaurant provided a variety of delicious selections served by cordial staff. We also took in a day at the Nordic Spa. The spa facilities are excellent, staff very knowledgeable and a meal at the Two Pines Bistro is not to be missed!

The kananaskis area is so nice and the hotel is right in the heart of it. There is a million dollar view from every angle. Be sure to ask about the hikes and lakes in the area. The restaurants are all very good and offer choices for everyone. The pool and spa area are very nice as well. The golf course is world class and has a great outdoor patio for all day food and drinks.

First off I’d like to state the resort is truly a 5* experience… although i was unable to attend the spa due to personal poor planning the resort has provided me once again for a second time a great family vacation. I’ve been to Jasper, Banff and Canmore previously as well Kananaskis Village has provided our family the best overall experience twice. Thank you, Mat Morrison

The location is fantastic with beautiful scenic walking trails nearby. The amenities at the hotel were extensive- I was impressed to see all the board games in the lobby lounge and also the activities for children (we didn't use these but a great option for those travelling with kids). The place overall was clean and staff were very friendly and attentive.

Really easy stay with two little kids. You can bring your own camping gear or you can just rent everything that is there. That’s what we did. It cost a little more but it sure did save time and space packing up and in general made this trip easy. Really nice spot with some hammock’s by the river. Just a beautiful area.

The staff was phenomenal from start to finish. The dining and room service was top notch and delicious. The area itself and the amenities in the hotel were 4 star. It was nice having breakfast comped when we had to switch rooms due to a broken AC.
