The breakfast was very good and the method of delivery very unique! it is put in the fridge and in the morning you put it into a picnic basket which you can then take anywhere on the property, our preference was the terrace.

Fredrick is a wonderful host. Brought us a memory to live in a 17th-century cozy room, a backyard with fantastics seaview. A totally different accommodation experience, worth a try. Yummy breakfast, food source originated from the island.

We stayed there with a group of friends (3) and the room was decorated "Ameridien", very friendly and welcoming. There was no one else on the property so it was super quiet.

Room was clean and quiet, well decorated, but not on the shore side. Dinning room was on the shore side, so we had a very pleasant and romantic evening. Food is exceptional and the presentation of the dishes interesting.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a balcony, Le temps d'une île (Maison) - Vue sur le fleuve is located in Saint-Laurent-de-l'ile d'Orleans.
The Ile d'Orléans is a lovely place to visit. It combines small traditional villages, with some historic churches and houses, with lovely farms that sell produce along the roadsides. There are places to stop and watch ships sailing by, and also to hike.
Lots of B&Bs too. Lovely shops of artisanal wares and antiques too. We found excellent homemade bread, jams, fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as beautiful handwoven items.
We had two very good meals on the island.
Recommended as a lovely place to visit and stay.

Ils d'Orleans is a very quaint and beautiful island.
Ils d'Orleans is a very quaint and beautiful island. It's just a hope and a skip from Quebec City and very well located. We love the produce and specialty items that you can buy on the island. We go every year.

We toured the island on our honeymoon.
We toured the island on our honeymoon. We gave ourselves an afternoon to go around the island, and wish we'd given ourselves a whole day, if not 2. You can technically drive around the island in about an hour, but the charm of the place is stopping to enjoy the culture, beauty, and products of the small villages along the way. We even returned on our way home to pick up more of our favourite products. We just loved stopping in all the lovely shops, speaking with the kind and interesting local owners, and tasting the many treasures of the island. Prepare yourself for excellent wine, cider, strawberries (we munched on them as car snacks as we toured around), chocolate, cheese, preserves, and more. This rural oasis just minutes from Old Quebec is a must go!

Had no idea the island was so big.
Had no idea the island was so big. To bad the biking is not favourable the cars drive by fast and narrow roads. But across the bridge on the mainland are the most beautiful bike paths. You can go all the way to Quebec or St.Ann mountain. Excellent!

Ile d’Orleans was peaceful and very charming.
Ile d’Orleans was peaceful and very charming. The houses were beautiful, well maintained and with lovely gardens. Ancient rosebushes abounded everywhere, So beautiful in June. We had no car so circled the whole island by taxi and marvelled the gorgeous views in every direction.
