The rooms are elegant, tasteful, and modern. Great shower!!!
I especially loved the fact that there are two queen beds, but in separate rooms! this is awesome, it offers privacy and quietness if needed. Comfortable beds with quality bedding and linen. The entire color scheme, from bedding to furniture is modern and tasteful. The big bonus is the huge TV which offers Netflix, Disney, Prime etc screening. We were quite blown away as this is not the normal standard for most motels, and my husband and I have traveled extensively and have stayed at many different hotels and motels. Modern blinds covering the windows which you simply pull down or push up, and all light is blocked out. Laminate flooring is excellent. Pet friendly, and the location to the park to walk your dog is a few minutes away!

We picked Hope as an overnight stop but the setting among the mountains was lovely. The trails within walking distance of our accommodation were beautiful. We walked the section of the trans Canada trial that goes to the Othello tunnels. Unfortunately due to weather damage they were closed for repairs but the walk on the trail itself was well worth it amongst the trees with the river below. Very much worth a couple of day’s walking in the area.

Have stayed in Hope previously for 10 days to work and didn't explore all it has to offer. However, it was a very friendly city and very clean. there are many cool spots to hang out and rivers to sit by.
Had a quick breakfast at Rolly's...great service and good food.

Hope is a nice town where the two highways heading East split. It's a good place to spend a night in transit. Lots of gas stations, fast food, supermarket, some interesting shops, nice art-cinema. Nice view down by the river. Be careful of what motel you choose. Some are good, some are awful.

I have been to and through Hope many times.
I have been to and through Hope many times. For such a lovely location, it is strange they have never tried to "gussy" the town up more. It is dirty, dining is difficult, not much choice and mostly greasy spoon places. The whole look of Hope screams hopeless. Stop for gas, a pee or ice then keep driving.

There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store. There were a number of chainsaw wood carvings all around the town, in the park in the middle of town on street corners and various businesses. They were advertising the 40th anniversary of Rambo first blood movie and had plans to do a walkabout for it in October. The park motel was in the centre of town with all the shops in walking distance. The motel staff was friendly and gave excellent service.
Because we were traveling with our dog, we booked a room at the swiss Chalets Motel. It was advertised that the motel is pet friendly. But when we arrived, we didn't get a room with the explanation we should have called ahead to make sure that a pet friendly room is available. The person at the front desk was rude to us and refused to give us any recommendation. He told us he does not know Hope because he just moved there recently. It was not a pleasant experience at all.
This location was convenient for us to get to and was right in the main road in Hope.
The motel is old and it shows in much of the construction and utilities but the beds, toilet and appliances were all new and updated. The room included lamps and clocks with wireless chargers built in for, Roku TV connected to WiFi for streaming access, rainfall showerhead, brand new full size fridge.
It was more than we expected for an inexpensive room.
I didn’t stay for breakfast. I needed a place to sleep, it was late and not very good road conditions. I have a puppy with me the owner was very nice and thought my puppy was really big. Lol!

Its a motel not a hotel and it is everything it proclaims to be. Stayed at a few in Hope ( on the same road/ highway and this is accommodation is the best by far. Friendly manager, easy check in/out. Good quality sheets and bedding. It really exceeded my expectations.
I took a ferry, arrived Hope late. Despite the after-hours check-in, the front desk staff exceeded expectations, providing a warm welcome and even guiding me on using the heater and TV in my room. One of the most pleasant check-in experiences I've had.
Cheap, Clean, Away from the Non-sese Hotel, more then enough parking was able to park the semi in the parking lot not many places have room for that, Close Enough to Everything but far enough away from the questionable people
The property was a good rest-stop location in the middle of downtown Hope. Although the facilities are old, they were quite clean and there were enough shelves for storing away personal objects.
Good location on the main road in Hope. Has mostly everything you need and the bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. Overall it was fine for a night when passing through.
