It’s a federal park so there is a fee for attending the beach… this stops at night so if you want to take a stroll on the beach at night you can. If you plan on going for multiple days buy a federal parks pass

I liked that it was quiet.
I liked that it was quiet. I didn't like the spiders and cobwebs that I had to sweep away from the door before we could go inside. The manager was obviously aware of this problem as there was a broom left outside the front door.

We visited after Labour Day so no fees to enter the park.
We visited after Labour Day so no fees to enter the park.
Walked up/over to the beach on boardwalk through the dunes.
Very well maintained.
Accessibility was excellent - even had the mat down on the sandy beach.

Of the 3 main National Park beaches on PEI's northern coast Brackley was my favourite.
Golden fine sands, clean, well maintained and very close to our Aparthotel.
As it is a National Park, it is natural with no businesses allowed.
Bring your own picnic or go to the local Marina for food and drink.
Lovely water and very peaceful.

We all Loved Brackley Beach area. easy to get around, scenic, huge beautiful sandy beach on the Ocean and only a short walk from our cottage down the mowed lane. Our cottage was on the water with scenic pretty water views at sunrise and sunset right in front of our cottage at Brackley Bay.

Pristine beaches, if you choose the right spot you have the beach almost to yourself. Beach at Dalvay by the Sea is the perfect spot to relax, swim, beach walks - never overrun !!! Easy access to all points of interest. Dunes Cafe for lunch or dinner and definitely Mussels Cafe in Rustico - delicious seafood and the desserts are to die for.
Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. We only needed to bring food. There is a full kitchen, BBQ and a firepit, and all the tools. We enjoyed them all. The property has an in-ground pool that is well maintained, badminton net, horseshoe pit, children's play areas and kayaks and canoes you can sign out for use on the river. The family that owns the place are very friendly and helpful for local info. Its walking distance to 2 burger and icecream joints, 5 minutes to beautiful Brackley Beach. We hope to return next summer.
The location of this cabin was perfect for our ventures. Our hosts worked hard everyday to make sure the property ran smoothly. They were very hospitable and made us feel so welcome. The cabin was clean and looked very nice. It was small but charming. The 2 bedroom worked well for the 4 adults and infant. We enjoyed using our personal fire pit every night. Loved the location to Brackley Beach - short drive down the road! We wished we could have stayed longer.
The location is great I would highly recommend it. It’s a motel but it’s worth the money considering how much other hotels cost. And the staff are very kind unlike hotels where you can be mistreated sometimes. They fixed issues as they came up which is to be expected as it was their first week open in two years. Don’t stay at a chain. Support the local PEI businesses these are the people that suffered during COVID and need people to book rooms.
Shaws hôtel is a real gem. I am more than happy to have found it. We had to check in after midnight but we were easily accommodated . It is situated in a perfect area. We stayed in a cottage and it was clean and comfortable. Even if the weather was a bit gloomy for two days we were able to enjoy our cottage. I will come back for sure ! Thankyou for a perfect stay .
It was in a very nice area. Scenery is really beautiful when you drove towards Brackley beach. The guy seemed really nice who runs it, but it's for his parents. I feel bad having to put all this, but people work hard for their money and when they take a family vacation they expect to see what has been advertise. It has potential.
Nothing specifically. The highlight of the hotel was not available on ground, The rooms were bit available as at 7.30 om when checking was 3pm. Wifi was not available throughout our stay including the pool. My children were totally disappointed with level of comfort
Beautiful heritage home family run for 4 generations! The hotel was quiet when I stayed so I was moved to a private cabin at no charge. So charming and the property is walking distance to the beach. Great breakfast too.
Beds were awsome and clean.
It was centrally located between Cavendish and Charlotte Town with Brackley Beach very close.
Over all our stay was very good..
Staff was super friendly. Very nice bombfire pit.
The location was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly, and the room was very comfortable. Though we only stayed for one night, I would choose Brackley Beach Northwinds again if I ever return to PEI.
The property was nice but out buildings in badly need of repair. The cottages were fairly clean but again in need of some tlc. They need to hire some staff as little owner lady was run ragged.
location was great. right in the centre of all the nearby important areas.
owner Jeanne was very helpful.
free parking, pretty clean cottage, laundry on site.
will stay there again for sure.
Beautiful location near Brackley beach.
Clean and well furnished room and facilities.
Gianna and her crew were very helpful and professional.
Will return again for sure.
Ideally located to travel to Cavendish, Brackley Beach or Charlottetown. Cottages were a little dated but with the ownership he is making strides to improve on this.
Beautiful setting, Great locación near Brackley beach. The cottages are cute. The swimming pool looked inviting but unfortunately we didn't have time for it.
