A great mountain for all types of skiers, long runs, not too...
A great mountain for all types of skiers, long runs, not too busy on weekdays (when we visited), good variety of terrain, excellent snow conditions. First day had low clouds and fog which severely affected visibility on top half of the mountain. This season has been particularly bad for this "white-out" situation but in other years this happens perhaps 25% of the time according to locals. Did not eat out since we always bring our own food. Village is small and easy to get around on skis. Used the yellow gondola to access the Happy Valley area from the village. Spent the bad visibility afternoon on snow shoe trails which were in excellent condition and well marked.

We just really like big white, it has a wide range of skiing and snowboarding options that allow our entire family to find runs they enjoy. so much of it is ski-in and ski-out. Loads of service options and food options.

The snow is excellent as is the grooming.
The snow is excellent as is the grooming. The variety of the runs and the weather differences allow you to customize your skiing day .Unfortunately, the name Big White can be descriptive in that some days it is impossible to ski because of the inclement weather and visibility.

Went to the wine tasting. It was great. Did some snow shoeing in a beautiful area but the trails are not well marked, even with a map. Fireworks down by the skating rink on Saturday, super cool. Lots to do there. Love it

We had a great stay. This was the best equipped suite we've ever stayed in, better than all the other hotels and Airbnbs we've used throughout Canada and internationally. The hosts had everything you could possibly need and more to make the stay comfortable for short and longterm stays. It was like living in our own place.
