Friendly staff, nice rooms. Everything clean, pretty quiet. The city's really small, but also is in a good location. You're maybe 5 minutes walk away from the house of guides, everything is within walking distance. Less than a block away from the central market, you're in the center of everything. The owner is really nice, I needed to change the dates of my stay and she was very accommodating.

The atmosphere and the personality of the owner couple Sra.Griselda and Sr.Gualberto. They are very respectful, welcoming and very flexible to make my stay fulfilling. During my short stay, I had opportunity to be shared their thoughts and perspectives of Bolivia and it helps me to understand much better about this country. And Sra. Griselda tried to bring freshly made egg for the breakfast, Sr. Gualberto woke up super early in the morning for my request, simple but yumm bread is from neighbor, I like these little (well… actually not little) but warm spices that made me feel como en mi casa :)

Stayed in the dorm. Beds were comfortable (no bunk beds!) and the room was spacious. There was a kitchen for guests to use and a nice seating area with a little library! Other guests very friendly (although mostly French speakers… I think due to the owner being Swiss French).

1/2 block from transportation 1 1/2 blocks from main square although it’s a small doesn’t take long to walk anywhere
Torotoro is awesome. Getting to see real dinosaur tracks in the wild was epic. The landscape is also phenomenal. All tours are in Spanish so if you speak any other language be prepared to just enjoy the scenery and read up about it later. I would highly recommend it!
If you are claustrophobic skip the caving experience. I’m not claustrophobic but it scared the crap out of me. Planking my way through a 60cm gap and rappelling down slippery rock surfaces in the dark (with a headlamp) where if you let go of the rope you’ll fall into a deep crevasse was beyond my level of comfort.
Also note, if you are afraid of heights you may struggle with the canyon hike but I loved it!

Torotoro is a quiet town, not too many tourists and easy to walk around. It takes about 4 hours in a Collectivo on a bumpy road from Cochabamba to get here. Go to the only tour office to the left of the main square to book a tour of Cuidad de Itas and the cavern (you must ride for an hour in a 4x4), or take a walking tour to see dinosaur footprints and walk down (and back up) to the bottom of Canyon El Vergel.
Before the tour, you need to pay the park entrance fee next door, 100Bs per person. Our children loved this experience, it is well worth the visit!

Torotoro is a small and very authentic village with very well preserved imprints of dinousars and amazing nature.
I loved Ciudad de Itas and the Canyon with Vergel waterfall. You should have a moderate level of "being in form". The entrance in the park is 100 boliviano for 4 days and then you pay for the guide (100 boliviano for a group of max 6 persons) for every tour and if there's transport (Ciudad de Itas) 330 boliviano (for a group), they may ask you to pay for the helmets if you want to visit the cave.
There're many places to eat and it's cheap (for example on the right of Hostal Eden they have 1 place with good grilled meat and it's 12 boliviano only for a big portion).
ATTENTION: there're no ATM machines and the best mobile operator (if you want internet) is Entel (there's no WiFi, don't believe if they say so)
