I loved everything. This was my first time staying there and the staff from the moment I arrived were exemplary. Nothing was too much for them and collectively they represented their hotel as United team. They all spoke many languages and were generally so helpful and so fun to interact with. My room was extraordinarily large. It was absolutely spotless and one of the best night sleep I’ve had in any hotel and my many stays around the world. A wonderful city with so much history, the old town is beautiful with its lovely traditional Bulgarian Revival style houses, many with art galleries inside. Beautiful arts and crafts. There was music everywhere, people playing traditional musical instruments, Orthodox Church chants, and a nearby music school. Magnificent Roman ruins, the ancient Theatre, and a mosque, a wonderful blend of cultures. Wonderful views from the hills and Nebet Tepe is a great place to watch the sunset. A must see! Definitely worth a visit.

However city is a gem. excellent Roman era remains. Not so much on other times especially the communist era (apart from the statue) but museums OK and entrance fees fair.
Food is plentiful and universally good especially the portions.
Nightlife great at weekends but rest of time quiet.
Completely safe in town center and no hassle for us.

the city has a lot of history to it and most of it is well presented and preserved. the older part of the center has been restored and most buildings look very good. the restoration was done with taste and respect to the original architecture.
in and around Plovdiv you can find many other attractions except for the center.
it was pricier than expected, or when compared to other Bulgarian towns (Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, etc.).

Barber&Cat was my favorite place – they make incredibly tasty cocktails, and the bartenders work with heart and soul. It's as if they can recognize your essence and express it through the perfect cocktail. Walking through the old town easily immerses you in the past – it feels like you're transported to another time. The high stone walls and steep cobbled streets guide you back through the centuries, where you can sense the atmosphere and spirit of the people who lived here before you. It’s a unique and energizing place that seems to carry you to another era.

If you like ancient history and long walks, Plovdiv is the city for you. If you are visiting Bulgaria or you are Bulgarian, Plovdiv is a must see. Start from the city center and go through the Old City and if you are staying at a hotel, I recommend the city center as well, so that you are close to main sightseeing spots.

The communication was very fast and very good. The location in the old town. A parking space. The staff was great. I got a guided tour in the basement where a historical thermal bath was located. I usually stay in apartments but the experience at this hotel was above average. I will surely come back
The hotel is placed in a good area, 10 minutes walking from old town.
The mini kitchen had a mini-refrigerator, an electric cooker and a boiling can. There was also a minibar in the room.
The receptionist gave us useful info ref the places to visit.
The parking and the breakfast were ok.
Clean and comfortable rooms, nice staff, private parking behind the building. Hotel is close to the train station, the old town is about 20-30 minutes by foot, and there are also several bus lines passing very close.
