We have requested the front desk for technical support but with zero effect. It is important because almost all stores and gift shop bakeries are accepting cash only. So, be ready to pay the extra fee to the declared price for the room. The official rate for a taxi ride in Obzor is three times higher than in Varna.

Not the most engaging resort.
Not the most engaging resort. Very few restaurants, many of those closed anyway, either not yet open for the season or gone out of business. Very clean streets, even the wheely bins have their own lock ups!! Geared up more I think for the all inclusive hotels, but there are many small hotels too.
The beach is long, sandy and the sea quite shallow, so should be safe for children. The North end is where the large hotels are, access to the roads from the beach is restricted by security.
One thing to avoid or perhaps more accurately one person, Ivan the taxi driver, doesn't know his way around, or if he does, he pretends not to, so he can drive around running up the bill. Avoid!!

I like the clean, airy beaches without music, the quiet, civilized people and the fact that Obzor seems to have stopped somewhere in time. Police patrol the streets, garbage is picked up every morning and people jog or go for a walk with their dogs. An atmosphere of general relaxation. You have a supermarket and small shops with fruits and tomatoes.

Obzor has really nice beach with the beautiful views. I do not like the design of the hotels as this is too much and too close to water line. This is the example of how bad management can destroy the beauty of nature. The only hotel I like is HDV the brand new hote.
We stayed 6 nights in A part of the hotel and we had a big and nice room. The hotel it's located beachfront and it has seaview and garden view rooms. It had a small pool with bar. Everyday you have activitied around the pool and garden. The stuff was very nice. At the hotel is a main restaurant where you cand eat all the meals and a traditional restaurant where you can reserve a meal on monday, thursday and saturday. You must reserve your meal 2-3 days before. The beach it's clean and the water also.
Bella Vista is a great appartment, very modern and clean, with all the facilities you need. Very close to the beach, with a great sea view and a nice terrace. You can even see the sea from the bed.
Supermarkets and many restaurant are just few meters away. Cleaning is made daily and the host is very nice.
Obzor is a great location to spend the summer holidays with family. Very quite and relaxing.
The hotel is right on the beach and the beach is wide, clean and not very busy. We had a sea-view apartment and the view was great - the sunrise over the Black Sea. The rooms are spacious, but very sparsely and poorly decorated. The random selection of cheap furniture is not what you expect in a 4 star hotel. The room also lacked basic hotel toiletries like soap and shampoo in the bathroom.
Good food, not vast, but you have options. Fizzy drinks are very good, wine and beer. Pool areea is nice and also the pool bar is very close to beach. I liked that we received seea view rooms even if we paid for park view rooms. Was a nice plance to spend the holidays. We relaxed a lot.

Great place for vacation, nice appartments. Not too much space for parking but we were always able to find for our car. Location is great - 1 min to the beach and 1 minute to the center of Obzor.

The location of the building is excellent. Right in front of the place is the beach. There wore not that many people on the beach since it is far away from the large hotels. The staff was great and responsive. The kitchen was well equipped!
