There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities.
We just could not put up with smoking everywhere.
There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places.
No free drinking water facilities.
Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark…
Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services.
Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.
We stayed in two rooms (I think that they were 110 and 111). The rooms were very large and the furniture was plentiful and comfortable. If you are travelling through Bulgaria to Greece, this hotel is just two kilometres from the main road, it is in a park and well worth the extra distance. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay there again. The breakfast was nice (I ate the #5) and they actually know how to make English tea. The bathrooms are very large. The balcony was convenient. WiFi was fast and free.
I have stayed in different hotels in Haskovo many times. This was the most modern, cleanest hotel. Small, clean and warm. I felt at home. Carpets, linens and bathroom are immaculate. It will be much better if they increase the breakfast option in the future. The staff is very caring. No parking problem. In front of the hotel and adequate. It is in the center of the city and you can reach the center in 5 minutes by walking. I would definitely recommend.
The location of the apartment is in the Haskovo city center and you can see the beautiful monument from the bedroom window. The host had taken care of every detail and the apartment was decorated with style. The place was very clean and cosy and equipped with all the necessary items. There were 2 seperate bedrooms and a living room and it was comfortable for 4-5 adults.

Comfortable beds, spacious rooms with thick walls so it was very quiet, nice bathrooms with a high enough showerhead to be comfortable for taller people, amazing food in the restaurant (also offers 10% discount if you are staying at the hotel). Great location. Overall perfect stay, would definitely visit again.
The hotel is located in the biggest park in Haskovo - Kenana. The atmosphere is very nice and combined with the open pool, it looks nice. The view from the city is magnificent - you can see the whole town.

We had a nice stay there in our way to Greece. The hotel is located in a quiet place, it was clean and staff very responsive. Supervised parking. Besides all, the guests have free access to a nice open pool witch we enjoyed after a long driving day.
