When I arrived at the hotel it was all closed up and I had to go around the back of the building to be let in. They did not seem to be expecting me. The elderly man in the property did not speak any English. The restaurant was closed and so no food was available, not even breakfast the next morning. When I asked where I could eat, I was told “Centre” with a wave of the hand. There was WiFi signal but no internet connection. When I later asked a young woman about this, she said “There is a problem in the village” and yet I could get internet access without any problem at another hotel 500 m away. A most disappointing experience. Not as described by Booking.com! It’s a “family hotel” but a colder, more unfriendly place you could not imagine.

We did not stay at the Alpinist as they were under re-construction work. I'm sure they were aware of this work and rather than a refund they sent us to the other hotel Malyovista opposite.

Perfect location for visiting the mountains. The house has everything for a comfortable stay including a pellet stove and coffee machine. Irina met us and was super friendly and helpful.

Great villa in silent area with fantastic view on the mountains and fields from the bedrooms, balcony and terrace. The villa is new , clean and very comfortable, equipped with everything you need and even more. Supermarkets, restrants are in 15 min drive, many walking trails around: Seven Lakes, Rila monastery, Borovets etc. And Lili the Host is amaizing: very friendly and helpful and available in any time.
Will definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again

Our host was welcoming, hospitable, and catered to all our needs. The house and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. We were a group of 7-10 people, so we appreciated being able to cook and spend time together in the mehana/kitchen.
We were at Govedartsi duing a heat wave, but thanks to being close to the mountains and the house's thick walls, we felt cool inside.
Our stay at this lovely family hotel was just perfect. The room was comfortable with a great view, the homemade food was delicious and especially the staff was not only very welcoming and kind hearted, but they really helped us with transfer options for our planned hiking trip to the Rila mountains. It would be a pleasure to come back one day!

Decorated very nicely and very well equipped. There is a restaurant at the place in which you can order meals.
The host is incredible: every little request is treated immediately and kindly.
It is the perfect combination between a cabin and an hotel
The spa was really good (2 whirlpools, many saunas, steam bath, etc. ...) and everything was working. Rooms were clean and bathroom was also very fine.
Location is super for hiking (there are a minimum of 4 different Routes directly from the hotel).
