We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Super clean, quiet and comfortable with amazing view from the balcony of our room. The host truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She surprised us with delicious homemade goodies, and brought out various outdoor and indoor games, ensuring our kids had a fantastic time throughout our stay. Perfect base for Seven Rila lakes hike. We can't wait to visit again in the future!

The host met us at the entrance, the apartment is located 5 minutes drive from sprava banya, the guesthouse has a beautiful garden and views of the mountains. the apartment was very clean and well equipped and had a very nice balcony for relaxing, even in rain time.

The hotel is perfectly situated for you to explore the Rila Mountains: we visited the Rila Monastery on our first day and hiked the Seven Rila Lakes on the second. The hotel is comfortable, with many additional spa facilities which we did not have time to use. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the stream behind the hotel. Excellent price-quality. We paid (cash) at the hotel for breakfast, which had good variety.

When I arrived at the hotel it was all closed up and I had to go around the back of the building to be let in. They did not seem to be expecting me. The elderly man in the property did not speak any English. The restaurant was closed and so no food was available, not even breakfast the next morning. When I asked where I could eat, I was told “Centre” with a wave of the hand. There was WiFi signal but no internet connection. When I later asked a young woman about this, she said “There is a problem in the village” and yet I could get internet access without any problem at another hotel 500 m away. A most disappointing experience. Not as described by Booking.com! It’s a “family hotel” but a colder, more unfriendly place you could not imagine.
