The location of the villa was great, it provided a nice view of the little town and facilities were nearby. The restaurant at the Villa is also excellent and we would recommend people to go there.

I liked the rooms but one was not the best. TV was working on and off and the breakfast was too far to go to another building. I believe it could be cooked nicer as well and have a bit more choice. Only one coffee machine installed and when it got busy at the weekend it was very hard to get a hot drink and there was a long queue. Machine ran out of hot chocolate, could hardly find a table to sit to eat breakfast and it was not the best experience as the food ran out. I think there was a group of tourists, but they should have considered the capacity and the restaurant staff levels. The barbecue restaurant was nice, but there was no alcoholic drinks menu so I didn’t know how much the drinks cost. It wasn’t great value for money, but the food was delicious.

The room we got was right above the breakfast zone, so we had a lot of noise from the people and especially from the moving chairs/tables. However this room had a very beautiful terrace with an amazing view.

Parking can be an issue at the weekends.
The monastery is certainly worth a visit and a walk around.

The area has a big potential, is very nice town.
Beware where you parking. The Bulgarian police officers make all their best for tourists, such us the tourists never come back to Veliko Tarnovo.
Bulgaria still have a lot of things to learn regarding the tourism...
Huge house, huge rooms, a beautiful courtyard and an amazing swimming pool, there is no other place I go to when traveling to Arbanasi. Been here 3 times, I'll always come back here.
Big kitchen with all the amenities you can think of - from spices to rice, spaghetti... you name it. Plus they have a barbecue so you can bring your own food (Kaufland is 4 km away, so there is no need to buy food from home, you can find everything on the spot there).
This was our second visit of the hotel and we were not disappointed. We will most definitely visit again. Very cosy and quiet place, with a lovely garden, great service and delicious food. Great breakfast. Parking available. Staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. Please keep the level of service and maintain the facilities, as it will be disappointing if any of these go down (as with many other places in Bulgaria) Thank you
Feniya and Plamen (the hosts), create a feeling of home! They have exceptional knowledge of the history and culture of Arbanasi and the area. Anyone who wants to soak up the atmosphere of this picturesque Bulgarian village should be a guest at Villa Fenix. The conditions are wonderful, the air is clean, and the silence is deafening. A place to rest and meet good people!

The location and the view are amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The beds are comfortable, the pool is nice and clean, the rooms and the bathrooms are spacious. The breakfast buffet is fairly decent, except that the only fresh fruits offered were apples.

The room was clean and spacious. The complex has a very large and nice garden, very relaxing. The restaurant on the premis has very tasty food. They also have a small car park and the car was safe.
Good place to come with a large group. We had a quiet stay after a long visit to Veliko Tarnovo. We enjoyed the spa and sauna. There is also a gym area. Perfect for families.
