The price is a bit high, but it is during the highest peak of the season in this region, during the Tour of Flanders, De Ronde van Vlaanderen, a cycling event. So that might explain why.

All that was needed for a nice, large breakfast. Spacious, luxurious rooms with an exceptional view on the market square and the church. Very beautiful venue. The whole city mansion is opulently and very well decorated. Kind and helpful staff. A boutique hotel +++++.

Really nice stay, in a quiet place. Perfect for visiting around, or as a stop on a longer road trip as we did. The family suite had 2 rooms so it was nice to keep the kids in one as they would sleep earlier. Very clean, and overall great stay!
In all fairness we visited Ghent. Zwalm was close enough and our accommodations were an excellent value over staying in Ghent. Ghent is a historically rich city small enough to walk in with many things to see and do. Surprisingly dining was very nice and meals were enjoyable, well prepared, tasty and well priced.
This place is amazing and was truly beyond our expectations. The interior is beautiful and all details are so thoughtful . Comfortable and cozy rooms have everything what guest may request
Area around hotel is also prepared to serve to guest : summer cafe , playground for kids and even small waterfall.
