The location was good near to local business centre
Impossible to get anything to eat in the evening although I was told that the husband of the couple who owned the hotel “might be able cook something when he arrived back, usually between 7.30-8pm”
There was a vending machine in reception but only stocked with a few drinks and bags of crisps
Luckily I was with a car so could drive to the next town where I found somewhere to eat.
Breakfast was a continental offering , I was last down and every table covered with plates, cups, food remnants & crumbs….had to clear a space. Only drink options a water machine & an old coffee machine
Hotel Ambassade is located in the centre of Waregem and offers free parking. The train station is just a 5-minute walk away.

The location is fantastic and the owner is really lovely and friendly.
The room is large and well equipped with a small mini bar fridge that was totally silent. The beds were comfortable.

I like that the building is nice a quiet. Very comfortable bed.

Great location and nice facility with outdoor sauna. One the best breakfasts that is not a buffet. Very personalized. Would recommend to take the suite with all the spa facilities.
We liked the modern architecture.
We liked the modern decor of our room with its large screen television which had programmes in at least 3 languages. The lighting was particularly well designed. There was a well stocked fridge and a teasmade. It was so quiet that we could have been the only ones there.
The restaurant by contrast was absolutely full of local diners. The friendly and helpful staff though worked off their feet took the trouble to explain the menu and to seat us in a quieter corner.
The self service breakfast was plentiful and attractively displayed.
The improvements we would suggest include a more obvious entrance with a designated parking place near the door. The free parking area is not obvious to a new visiter.
The shower room is constructed to suit tall people. Small people like me find the shelves too high and the gap between toilet and toilet paper too big a stretch. For safety reasons in the shower itself it would be better if there were grab rails or handles to aid balance and a shelf for toiletries so that you don't have to bend down to get them.
We felt that all the staff were anxious to make a real success of this new hotel which is why I have written at such length.
The location was very peaceful, yet surprisingly not too far away from Waregem. The breakfast was everything you would expect and very nice indeed. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to colleagues.
Dispite technical issues during the stay, the hotel was good and the staff was very helpful. The recommendation to visit restaurant named RoJo's Flavours near by was wonderful exerience.
