As described, great facilities, clean, and no problems, we had 12 adults stay, games rooms down stairs were great for entertaining young adults, good kitchen facilities big dining room to seat everyone, we really enjoyed our stay and couldn't really fault it, it suited our requirements for the weekend.

The Waimes Area of villages near to the Hautes Fagnes is okay but we prefer the other side of the border; Eifel. The villages are nicer and the facilities better (shops, supermarkets, points of interests)
We had a lot of snow so the Hautes Fagnes were beautiful! In Spring or autumn we would prefer the Eifel for a better landscape withmore diversity and valleys, mountains.
A combination is perfect.

We wouldn't have come here had we known we had to share the toilet and the bathroom with other guests!!!
We were there because we had a private anniversary in the area, so we didn't try out any of the local restaurants.
We used Waze to travel around in the area. Waze works perfectly.

WAIMES is situated in the center of a very beautifull region, close to the Vennbahn and RAVel cycling roads giving acces to GERMANY and LUXEMBURG by bike and close to BARAQUE MICHEL, BOTRANGE, BUTGENBACH and ROBERTVILLE lakes, ... for people/families liking nature walks/tracking. Close to the cities MALMEDY, EUPEN and SANKT-VITH.
Extremely convenient- the hotel is right in the middle of the nature park. There is an available free car park at the hotel, just park your car - and you can explore around by foot.
It has a nice restaurant where you can have lovely warm meals for lunch and dinner. I tried the leg of lamb and stone steak. both were delicious. Nice breakfast that's included.
The hotel staff were extremely nice and welcoming to me and my dog. It was my birthday, they were very kind and offered the local drinks to me. Merci beaucoup!

We were in Waimes for the Belgian GP at Spa-Francorchamps; only a 20 or 25 minute to get to the circuit (took much longer to get back but the traffic management was v poor).
Spacious appartement for 2 persons with very well equiped kitchen. It was very clean and had a very good bed. One could also use the seats in the garden.
Nearest shop or restaurant is at a roughly 10 mins drive. The guesthouse is close to nature areas.
The host is very friendly. Everything is very clean. She serves different kinds of tasteful breakfast of your own choice. The bathroom room is very spacious and has a perfect shower. In the neighborhood there are several restaurants.
Le Mont Rigi is a brand new hotel located in the middle of the Ardenne. The host told us that it is the highest placed hotel in Belgium. Beautiful walks right outside the hotel. Food is fine. The hotel is also very dog friendly.
