Spa is a town with a great history, and its fairly easy to get to know. The tourism office was very helpful, especially with information, maps, etc about walks in the area. We enjoyed the thermal baths, the funicular railway, hiking in the countryside, and walking around the township looking at the variety of architectural styles. There was a festival on while we were there, and some free activities which were great fun. Meals were a bit inconsistent, but we had a wonderful dining experience at l'Auberge restaurant - great food, great service, good value.

If you are travelling on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, be sure to book your dinner ahead of time. We stayed on a Wednesday night and restaurants were either closed (apparently the close day for a lot of them) and those opened were complete.

Lovely stay in Spa, we went for the Porsche weekend at Francorchamps. The hotel was about a 6 mile easy drive away. Spa is a quaint town with a beautiful church, some great shops and has some lovely bars and restaurants. a visit to the Thermes De Spa is a must, which the Radisson Blu Palace has it's own access to via the funicular.

The city is small but has everything you could need for a short relaxing trip. We went specifically for the thermal baths so did not get to try out the hiking trails which I hear are beautiful. I highly recommend booking restaurants in advance and making sure you get a booking confirmation as it can get pretty busy during peak hours.
The hostess was waitinng for us at arrival. She can only speak French, but with many gestures all went well! The appartment had all you needed for a perfect stay. The matress is very comfortable and the appartment is very clean. Parking outside the appartment was a bit of a problem, but in case all other parking areas failed, we were provided with a spot in the backyard. The terrace is so cosy, but unfortunately gets very little sun and is quite a cold spot. But all-in-all, we enjoyed our stay and will be returning to Le vieux Spa de Polo-Jo!
We expected it to be sort of a hotel, but they only had three rooms, and we didn´t complain. It was great! They didn´t have to focus on many guests, so the few of us who were here got the best service we could ever ask for. The room was big, as well as the bathroom, and we also had a lovely balcony. The breakfast was exceptional! They asked when we wanted to have the breakfast, and everything was ready when we got down to eat. We were also able to order eggs and freshly made pancakes and croissants. I really recommend a stay here!
The hosts were very nice. The wife was making sure that we had everything we need. We had a very nice breakfast every morning. As we were leaving at 2 am the last day, she left a breakfast at our door during the night. The room is equipped with a coffee machine and a tea pot. The location of the house is very convenient, at a walking distance from the center of Spa. There is always a spot to park the car in the street.
Nice hotel at the center of the town. The auto-race-theme interior is an interesting idea. It's apparently a part of the restaurant downstairs. The BEST thing about the room is the clawfeet bath tub. It's rare to see something like this in a hotel room except for super-expensive upper-class hotel. Being able to enjoy it in a reasonable-priced hotel like this is an extra bonus.
This is our third time staying at Hotel l'Auberge. We love the location in the heart of Spa & have also enjoyed eating at the restaurant on several occasions (it was not open the night we stayed this trip). The hotel also offers a plentiful breakfast. The rooms are a good size & the shower is great - bed very comfortable & additional pillows were available.
it’s a really nice apartment decorated like a real Datcha but in an Ottoman style like the ones you can find in the Balkans and the Caucasus. The location is also really practical near the station and close to the center is Spa. An absolute gem, so highly recommended!
The room was very clean and spacious. Bathroom was also very nice and with a lot of facilities (sauna, bathtub). The host was very kind. Breakfast was good and the hotel pool was also nice. Location is perfect.
The property was gorgeous and spacious. There were plenty of rooms to relax in outside of your room. The pool/ hot tub area being indoors was perfect so that we could enjoy it even when it was raining.
Very nice hotel with modern rooms, good service and a great location only 15 minutes drive from Spa-Francorchamps Circuit. The food in the restaurant was superb.
Nice and spacious room overlooking the hotel gardens, and a fabulous location right in the centre of Spa. Very handy for visiting the baths. Breakfast was good.
The garden is beautiful. The deck is great. Kitchen is well equiped. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood of Spa. The fact that there are two bathrooms is great.
