The location is excellent. Free parking in the town square (short walk) between 6pm and 9am. Breakfast is okay. WiFi reliable though didn't use it a great deal.

The secure parking for our motorbikes, the clean fresh look of the hotel. Having a lift also helped. The location was excellent, staff very friendly & well dressed. We spoke to several of them & all were very helpful.

We booked D'Hommelbelle mostly based on the rating ... and it is totally justified. A beautiful home from home in a rural location, but only a few minutes from Poperinge town centre. Sophie is a fantastic host and the facilities are fantastic. The bar and kitchen area in the photos are open for everyone to use, so you could even cook a meal if you want to. The bar works on an honesty system so just help yourself whenever you want. The gardens are great (although it was a bit wet to sit out when we visited). The rooms are modern and comfortable with good lighting and air-con. There are no drinks facilities in the room, but that didn't matter as the bar / kitchen was available downstairs. Breakfast is included and was superb. Ypres / Ieper is only 20 minutes drive away, with access to the entire area. Even if you don't have a car, D'Hommelbelle is a short taxi ride from the station in Poperinge, which will take you to Ieper and beyond. We will definitely be back to stay in the future.

we like this hotel ( have visited before) The hotel is everything a hotel should be, lovely people, and great food in a nice town (location).
