A little out of town, which suited us well. We were in the"Barn" extension, may sound basic, but far from it. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed, with character.. private with an ouside seating area looking out over the fields and forrest catching the afternoon and setting sun. Very tranquil, "William Turner" like softness.
It'd be difficult to better the breakfasts, Individual fresh fruit salads, bread, cheeses, sliced meats and encouragement to make "take-away" whatever you wished for a later snack (more like a meal). Aluminium foil provided.... Ever experienced that before ?

Everything. We stayed in the cottage and it was fantastic. Very spacious and clean with everything you could need.
The surrounding area is also lovely. The host was very friendly and accommodating and we had excellent communication prior and during our stay.

Everything! The room had a really big bed that was so comfortable that it was like spleeping in heaven.
The swimming pool had a relaxing ambiance with green lights. The water was warm. Perfect for raining moments.
What about the breakfast? Just fantastic, with a lot of choice and everything was tasty.
The personal was nice and really helpful.

The decor was beautiful and it was comfortable, clean, quiet and in a very good location. We were in a disabled room which had two toilets and this came in very handy. The reception staff were super helpful and lovely. The breakfast was off a good standard.

Location practical just of highway. Didn’t use facilities as we left before breakfast, which is served only as of 8h00, which I think is too late. We participated in a local competition and thus should have had the opportunity to have breakfast as of 07h00 am
The host were very sweet, and the property was really nice. I highly recommend the place and it was nice to be surrounded with lovely farm animals. There were 7-8 horses, 3 welcoming dogs, goats, chickens, rabbit, ducks and a fresh pond with beautiful fishes. The host provided us with bikes that we used to bike to Bruges and it was really fun biking. The breakfast was amazing, with various varieties of cheese, bread and nice pastries. The bed was super comfortable and washrooms and kitchen were super clean.
We only stayed here for one night but it was a truly amazing hotel.
It’s modern, well maintained, clean, great staff & good facilities. The rooms themselves are large, comfortable and have everything you could ask for and more.
We dined in their restaurant that evening and it was superb. A good selection on their menu, food was delicious & service was spot on.
For the price, it is an absolute bargain. Will definitely return if we are in the area!
Our Stay was fabulous. The restaurant had delicious food, the rooms are comfortable, quiet and spacious, and we especially loved the wellness center. My husband loved the Sauna room and I appreciated having a hottub / spa to myself. It's ingenious: the hotel wellness area has two large jacuzzi tubs that you fill on demand ... which means no need for chemicals. It was very clean and calming. We'd definitely stay there again.
Excellent hotel with a great location, not far from the highway. Very nice specious room with a large bathroom, private balcony, 2 big wardrobes, TV, fridge, iron and ironing board, coffee machine with coffee pods next to it! Nothing to be worried about when staying in such hotel. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming! Definitely going to return to this place in future.

The hotel was in a very good location for a visit to the historic city of Brugge by car. The hotel was clean and comfortable and had one of the finest restaurants around. We were able to dine outside on a sunny patio and enjoyed our meals and fine wine selection.
The Van Der Valk Hotel is a class act.From the staff to the bar & restaurant to the overall feel of a Hotel that cares about their guests.It surpassed my expectations.The location is excellent also if you don't want to stay in Bruges.
This place has a beautiful countryside location but is also very close to Brugge and Oostkamp. it’s a picturesque place to stay and the hosts are very nice people and very helpful, the best place I’ve stayed in Belgium .

Tiny apartment but very cosy. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. With a 10 minute walk you have a bus line to Brugge and even at night it goes back.
