We parked the car in front of the hotel.
The rooms are nice, the bed a bit narrow but we managed.
Breakfast was a possibility to add which we didn’t do but the room looked nice.

We have always loved Middlekerke, a very friendly place with lots of activities for all ages. There is a lot of building going on, which did not affect, but enhanced the stay as it is very interesting to watch. It is so easy to travel up and down the coast using the Kustram. We parked the car on arrival and did not use it again until we came home.
Bonus to have free parking outside the appartment, and in plenty of places in Middelkerke.
So close to the outstanding Dunes which are now protected and the Atlantic Wall Museum which has grown so big over the last few years and now has a WW1 area, you need a full day if you are visiting and also snacks and drinks as there is no cafe.

Really nice stay. Good restaurant. Nice welcome. We had two chihuahuas with us. Stairs are real steep so careful if you go there with a bigger dog, you may need to carry them all the way upstairs :-). I recommend anyway cause it was a good stay on the whole.

Middelkerke located between Niewport and Ostende is a small town on this stunning coastline that offers beautiful sandy beaches, shops and plenty of eateries as well as entertainment.
The GoKart center is perfect for families as it has outdoor climbing, Go Kart, small animal farm and indoors, cafe, bowling, game machines and 3D workshops.
Hiring an electric bike is a must to cycle along the entire cost and to Niewport, it allows you to travel much further with less effort.

Middelkerke is a favorite of ours because it isn't a large city, but it has everything that you need. The locals are always friendly. This trip was the first time that I ran into someone who did not speak any English. It is a great "base" area if you want to visit other locations up and down the coast. I felt so safe and comfortable on our first trip that I returned on a trip with my kids and was able to relax while they played and enjoyed the area.

wonderful place to stay with kids, loads of bungalows to choose from within a short walk to the beach; kids love sandy beaches, driving carts on the promenade and eating wuffles; not crowded and really relaxing;
Direct tram to Ostend from where it is easy to get to Brugge/Brussels/Antwerp and many other places if you fancy a day exploring Belgium
The house is located in a farm and is surrounded by fields. It was really calm and allowed us to rest very well. At the same time, it is very close to the seaside (5 km away from the center of Middelkerke = 20 min. by bike). The house is very clean and pretty modern and comfortable (the beds were extraordinarilly comfortable, also, there is everything else you might need - even an iron and ironing desk). The owner is very kind and hospitable - she even allowed our doughter to ride her pony! We will deffinitelly come back.
The rooms with a view have just that …. stunning views of the spectacular beach and out to sea.
The breakfast is wonderful, offering so much choice (and eaten with a view too).
Always very clean and comfortable, with a fantastic shower.
Hotel is ideally situated for trips further along the coast, including beautiful Brugge.
A special experience for sure. The building of the hotel doubles as a casino, which gives it a certain charme. Our room was fantastic. Modern, stylish and with plenty of room to spread out. We felt instantly at home. You're only a short walk away from the coast.

The house was in good condition and clean. Frank gave us instructions on what to do or where to go with the children in cases of bad weather.
The staff and the room were superb: It looked and was very clean! The room was quiet and comfortable. The location was great - metres from the beach and the breakfast was delicious! Parking was a very short walk from the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for only one night, but it is directly at the beach and the staff was very kind. The room was clean and equipped with everything you need. Traveling with our dog was no problem at all!

holiday home right in nature on the field and not far from the beach. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. There is even a beautiful Knights Templar church in Middelkerke.
