Excellent price-quality. We slept well, and could easily park in front of the door (free). Check-in at any time is very convenient.
The studio is about a 15 mins’ drive from Kortrijk.
The toilet is outside of the studio, but literally only 3 steps away. Not as if you need to cross an entire hallway. Good to be aware of, but we already read that in the reviews beforehand.
The studio is next to a big road. Not too much traffic in the weekend though. We slept well, but were also dead tired. :-)

Kathy was beyond wonderful. She couldn't do enough for her guests and went the extra mile to help me out when I had a very bad reaction to some sort of insect bite I had picked up in France. The property is immaculately clean and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. There is a lovely garden you can relax in and enjoy. The breakfast was great.
Just note the property is a bit isolated so plan your evenings accordingly. There are loads of restaurants in Ypres and some in the local villages.

The town has potential with planned developments to upgrade the riverside .., a nice market place, friendly people serving good food and good services. Clean. Really nice old traditional and some interesting landmarks and history. Bakery with really nice quality familiar pastries at surprisingly attractive prices on the market place very friendly people.
This hotel exceeded what we imagined. The room was spacious and had a little kitchenette. It was very quiet and peaceful as well. It is in a reasonable location but we can't say about the surrounding area for any bars/restaurants as we rode to the Menen Gate for the nightly Last Post ceremony.
The inner yard of the hotel was quiet and had tables and chairs, one could sit on in the evening. The reception had a vending machine for emergency purchases (snacks and drinks).
The hotel in general is rather worn down, but still comfortable and clean.
