We enjoyed our stay at the Catalonia Hotel for our first visit to Brussels. The location is great with excellent transport links by tram. The hotel is situated in a quiet, safe residential area. Arrived on the Eurostar followed by a 12 minute tram ride and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and made us welcome.
We had a premier room for 3 which was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and the gastro bar offered some varied choices in the evening. Outdoor cafe area was nice to sit in although there are lots of cafes nearby if you prefer. Only a 10 minute tram ride to the centre of Brussels where there’s lots to see.
We used our debit card to tap in on the trams, about £2 a ride with a maximum of £6.70 per day which was excellent value to see everything.
We enjoyed our stay very much, would be happy to recommend the Catalonia Hotel and hope to come back again.
