The situation is brilliant. Close to the centre, quiet in the evening and surrounded with lovely restaurants and snacks. We were super happy to get that deluxe room that was spacious, stylish and practical. I loved the air conditioning that offers us a lovely night after a disastrously long walk in torrential rain. 🙋♂️❤️

many old houses not in good shape anymore. The city doesn't seem to have a concept to ensure that the old quarters are preserved. An in former times for sure a beautiful city seems now to lack money. Streets are often not clean. Still worth visiting.

The continuing tramworks are still a problem although the situation is improving. I wouldn't visit for tourism until they are finished. The Au Point de Vue restaurant offers good value for money if you are in the vicinity of the opera house.

The centre of the city is a huge building site as a new tram system is being constructed. This has been going on for a couple of years and only seems to be getting worse. Once it rains the paths turn into a mud-bath. I do not recommend going there at present.

Nice location on the river Meuse.
Nice location on the river Meuse. The staircase to the top of the citadel is insane but awesome! Nice pubs to sit and relax. Much of the city is under construction, new tram line and roads. Feron street was completely shut down so scratch it off of your itinerary. The Curtius museum is huge, plan for at least 2 hours.

liege had a nice old town area. we loved the restaurants and patisserie shops.
no real central hub, dirty stinking streets, obviously people don't use public toilets and just piss on the streets the stink is everywhere.
biggest problem was the amount of drug users. yes found in every city but i was surprised by just the huge number we had seen. although we did still feel safe during the day.
not the best looking Belgium city very grey stark buildings.
ok for a day trip.

Great inner city pedestrian area filled with shops, restaurants, bars. Liege Cathedral, and it's treasure, was fantastic. Ticket for the treasure room gives you free entry to the archaeology museum, which is also amazing - just underneath those modern streets is 2000 years of history!
There are waffles freshly baked on every corner, I recommend filled with chocolate, and you should find a nice place to eat the local specialty - Boulet à la Liégeoise - juicy meatballs in a tangy sweet gravy. 1 makes a very filling lunch, 2 a fab dinner. Served with chips, the famous Belgian chips, and salad, a delicious meal. We ate at La Brasserie De l’Élysée, which is a short walk from the cathedral.
We're very sad the second day, Sunday, was torrential rain, we'll have to come back to see the Sunday market!
Very nice hotel, awesome decor. Rooms and equipment are new and not worn down. There’s a play area for kids in the lobby and bar is very nice. Parking on site, public transportation in front of the hotel and it’s also walking distance to the city centre. Even though the hotel is located near train station, room was quiet. One bed was a pull-out couch, but it was good size and comfortable. Wi Fi worked in every corner of the room.
The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet area where you can enjoy the silence.
Firstly, you are pleasantly surprised by how small and cozy everything is in the hotel. Also, the designs chosen for the interior make a perfect match. You feel like you are in a "modern old building". Amenities are excellent, the staff is very friendly, and the cleanliness is done with very much care.
Have nothing bad to say about this accommodation, everything is at Ibis standards, it is right in the city centre, has parking underneath (park at the Opera parking and ask the hotel for the discount), allows pets, staff very helpful, we loved our stay and will be back, hopefully when the weather allows (it was raining all day, not the hotel's fault)
Great hipster place: sustainable, nice design, great common areas, easy going, friendly stuff. We enjoyed our stay!
Location is a bit outside the center, in a new part of the city, but luckily 5 minutes from the train station! For the city center you need to walk 15-20 minutes or take the bus that stops practically in front of the hotel.
The responsiveness of the staff and their help was remarkable. The rooms are so spacious and clean.
The location of the hotel is just accessible to all locations and just Infront of the train station.
We were lucky to have the room just facing the train station and it was really nice view.
The breakfast is excellent which offer many kinds of food even Champagne😄. The hotel is close to the station, also the room is clean and spacious. They provide complementary soft drinks in the mini bar. Coffee machine and kettle are available in the room. Nice for both work and leisure.
A nice simple hotel just a few mins walk from the centre of Liege. Rooms were small but adequate and everything was very clean and tidy. Good value continental breakfast too. Easy parking at the secure garage across the street - ask the hotel reception for a discounted parking ticket.
Perfect location next to the train station, but the flat is really quiet. You wouldn't be bothered by the sounds of the street.
Spacious and comfortable
2 bathrooms
Convenient check-in/out at the hotel next door
Fast communication with the property manager
The location is very convenient as the hotel is right in front of the train station. The room was nice and had everything that was needed. Breakfast was available with a supplemental payment. A small fridge, hairdryer and a safe were available.
Staff friendly & approachable, particularly the receptionist who checked us in. The rooms are on the spare side but well-equipped.
Very nice croissants at breakfast, they could do with slightly more cooking.
Parking right next to the hotel.
The property is just in front of the train station which made our stay very comfortable as we needed to catch the F1 shuttle buses in front of the station. The hotel room is very comfortable and spacious, as is the shower.
Comfortable, clean and central location for the City. The Building includes an elevator up to the 2nd floor to reach the 3rd floor which is great for heavy luggage. A family run hotel!
Rooms are amazing and we'll designed. Hotel lobby is gorgeous. Wish we were staying longer (only stayed a night as it was a stopover) but will definitely be back in the future.
