We were aware that the room booked was in a separate location to the hotel itself but were pleasantly surprised at how close it was. (5 minute walk). Good location to the lovely old town (10 minute walk). Spacious room with adequate storage and hanging facilities for clothes. Comfortable bed. Lovely shower. There was a fridge with a mini bar. The fridge was very effective and we were able to chill our own wine (bought from The Delhaize next door). There is a kettle and microwave in a public area for all residents use. A nice continental breakfast included in price and we were offered cooked egg breakfast (husband had scrambled egg which he appeared to enjoy!)

We were there because of info day at Howest University. My son was in Kjortrijk for one week last year (as an exchange stay of high school - which has been going there more then 30 years). He may come back to University. We can return to Kjortrijk more often.

A shame that there are so many works in the streets.
A shame that there are so many works in the streets. I recommend the 1302, beguinage, the other small beguinage and the walk around the river. What is definitely not good is that all covered parkings at the city centre close at 2:00 am.

I am genuinely impressed with Kortrijk.
I am genuinely impressed with Kortrijk. I had not really thought of it before as a place to go, but it is a friendly, clean and interesting place to go - and a great base for exploring the area, be it Flanders or Lille or even Ghent.
The centre is a joy to walk around - how good is it to take in cafes cleaning the pavements outside early in the morning, to walk to a neighbourhood bakery that is open Sunday mornings?

This is a little gem of a place, next to the rivers, lovely squared, architecture, parks and historic areas. Thoroughly lovely place to visit and explore and being on a train line there is easy access to Lille and other towns in Belgium.
Also being only 1.5 hours from calais it's super quick to get there. Great little town.

Lovely town, vibrant and young, night life in the open, music; beautiful historical town centre, with many shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs, where you could try local cuisine and beers, as well as plenty of cultural events.
Design, comfort, facilities, clean - a beautiful studio in a beautiful old town house in the centre of Kortrijk. This was my second stay at Homey and will be my home from home whenever I visit Kortrijk. The location is super handy, 5 minute walk from station, main square, swimming pool and fitness centre and the River Leie at the bottom of the street is great for walking or cycling along it Julie is a great host, gave us lots of tips on where to eat and drink in town. Just perfect!
For a studio apartment is very well equipped, the heated floors are amazing, and the location is great, there's even bunk beds if you come with your kids.
The host was very helpful and very informative, there was only one towel when I came in, and I dropped a text to the host and later that night e came by and dropped some more towels!
I'll definitely stay here again if I'm staying in Kortrijk again.
Fantastic! Super friendly and helpful hosts. Very modern, comfortable, and clean rooms right on the canal. Close to all the historic sites, shopping, and restaurants in Kortrijk. Easy access to walk or bring your bikes and ride the path along the canal. Breakfast was perfect and served right on time. Can't speak highly enough about our stay!
Everything was great, rooms were clean and very comfortable, staff was one of the best, especially Jesse (i hope I’m spelling his name correctly😄) he helped us with the check-in and check-out process, they were all really helpful, if i will come in Kortrijk once again, i’m sure i will stay there again.
The location was very good, close to the off-site parking and easy walk into the main central area. Room sizes were good for our needs and beds were comfortable. Even though we we in close proximity to the busy bars and restaurants the rooms remained quiet inside on Friday & Saturday night.
The room was spatious and very clean, and the facilities were outstanding. Waking up to birds chirping, within walking distance (15min) from the city center, you shouldn’t ask for more in life.
And the best part: the hostess is awesome and very attentive in an authentic way.

We took a trip from London via Brussels to this town. It was a great weekend and would recommend a visit. The hotel is the oldest in Belgium and was super. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were accommodating. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. 👍
It has been a while since I had a breakfast that good in a hotel (variety, quality). Walking distance to city center, clean, friendly discreet staff.
Can stay here and enjoy holiday in Lille, Bruges and Gent (all closer than 1 hour drive).
