Koksijde is a terrific Flemish sea town with lots of great shopping, cafe's, restaurants and wonderful deli's. Always plenty organised for visitors throughout the seasons.
Ice cream from the new Italian gelateria "Tutto Gelato Koksijde" is an absolute must! Best ice cream outside of Italy!
It's also a great location for bicycle holidays and you can rent bicycles locally.
Also a great base to explore Veurne, the WWI and WWII War cemeteries or museums in nearby Diksmuide, Ieper and the Somme in France.
It's also only 1 hour's drive form beautiful Brugge.
You can have breakfast in Belgium, lunch in The Netherlands, afternoon tea in Germany and dinner in France, Belgium and the Flemish coast are an ideal location for a European holiday!

This location is best for a long stay & with a small group or extended family. Basic. Communal space, living room & kitchen, quite small in relation to the number of rooms. Beach — main attraction — a few kilometers away. Bringing a car is a necessity.

Very easy to get around in Koksijde : a great Bureau voor Toerisme...
We are not young anymore 62 & 64. But we liked walking on the sandy Beach & in the dunes. We visited also our grandchildren in Izegem.
Ideal location to go to Oostduinkerke and Koksijde by bike passing by historical houses via low traffic roads and cycling paths through the dunes (+/- 10 minutes). Decorated with taste, super clean, new & modern, all you need to relax feeling at home. Last but not least we want to thank the very friendly hosts we met upon departure for the beauty and welcoming place they offered us. Superb breakfast as option.
I would highly recommend the apartment. Lovely bedrooms with balcony adjoined to the living room. Very central location - 4 mins to the beach. Dirk was very kind and explained everything to us. He was available if we needed any assistance. Koksijde is a lovely town with a fabulous beach and is very safe to walk around even during the night.
It is a pleasure to stay at Luxury Suites Koksijde Apartments.Modern design, very close to the beach, equipment and comfort at the highest level.

Breakfast was really good, enough variety and everything is fresh. We used the pool and it was great. Love it a lot. Koksijde is a quiet seashore city, it'll be okey for person like peaceful place. We're prefer more Oostende for next trip.
The location was ideal as we'd booked the accommodation for the Koksijde Cyclo-cross event and we could easily walk to and from the event. The accommodation was clean and had everything you needed in terms of kitchen equipment etc.
The flat is very nice and light; on a very good location.
It has an elevator.
The parking in the garage is also a big plus.
The kitchen is well equipped.

Lovely hotel, well located in Koksijde. The hotel staff were very nice and attentive. We had an excellent breakfast and dinner in the hotel. The room is nicely decorated and very comfortable. We would happily stay again.
the property was in an excellent location. all the linen and kitchen equipment necessary was available. close to the town center . koksijde is much calmer than a lot of other Belgian beaches
