It is a historical building, and it is very interesting to get the chance to see it also on the inside. The lady in charge is very nice and helpful. If you need to spend some hours waiting for a connecting flight, the location does its job.

We booked this for our final night in Belgium before flying back to the UK. It was also my son's birthday and when we inquired about a Birthday Cake, the owner was kind enough to go and get one without hesitation.
On arrival we were met by the staff member who looked after us and served us the home made Bolognese which was delicious and enough for all.
Our room was a family room with an old ensuite, it's quite a size and although a little dated but you are not finding the size of the rather large bath in many places.
We spent the evening in the saloon playing snooker whilst listening to music. There were also other guests playing cards in the main hall whilst snacking and having their own drinks which isn't a problem. In the morning there was no rush for us to leave after vacating the room as the airport was 10 mins away
I've noted some reviews on here and you need to understand this is a beautiful old chateau so it's never going to be 5 star. However the history inside and out is wonderful and that's what makes it different from a standard boring hotel.
We never met the owner so gutted not to sample his local brew, all in all it was a wonderful stay.

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
