Lovely building set in lovely gardens. Sylvie is the perfect hostess and takes genuine pleasure from giving her guests the best possible experience ( delicious glass of wine in the garden on arrival; personally selected local produce for breakfast; care and attention to every decorative detail). We enjoyed staying in a standard room in the main building but would definitely opt for one of the more luxurious options next time.

Jabbeke itself is a small village in the nature that is perfectly located in between Bruges and the coast. Even though the exit of the highway is close by, the noice of the cars didn’t bother us at all.
One of the highlights is the regional, fresh and delicious breakfast that is made by Ruth with a lot of love.
Our second highlight is the pool and spa area with a sauna, cold pool and hot tub. We enjoyed to relax there after a bike ride / a trip to Bruges or the beach.
Last but not least we want to thank Ruth for everything. She took care of us and left nothing to be desired. Also the conversations with her were always nice. She makes this place perfect and very special.

Being greeted by the lovely host who took time to explain everything we required. Although situated roadside it was very quiet with a choice of resturants within walking distance. Excellent breakfast. Perfect for a one or two night stay.

We liked the breakfast. Welcome drinks at reception was indeed welcoming on hot day. The idea for renting the umbrella for 2€ is ideal.
Good place to stay for the locale. I was heading up to the coast near Ostend, also to Newport & Coxyde.
So ideal.
Also went to Oudenburg.
Jabekke is a small town. Not too much going on. Basic facilities but as I had a car this was not a problem.

It was ok for what we paid and I thought location to Brugge was good. The local shops in town closed fairly early so this limited us. Overall room was fine and bed was too comfy and I would have asked fro a better room view but there is an option to pay a little more fro a better view. The staff were helpful and friendly overall I would stay again

The cottage was perfect for us and the dog, with a comfortable lounge and dining area, the large glass doors at the rear flooded this area with light. Well equipped and tidy kitchen area, the bedrooms were light and airy, with fly screens and blinds and comfortable beds. The village ahs a lovely bakery which is within walking distance of the cottage and a secure playing field to run around in.
We had a fabulous day out in Bruges which was a short distance away visiting the market and main town areas. The day we had a Nieuwpoort was very bracing and we visited the military cemetery and memorials.
Tijl was very helpful and must congratulate him on the sustainable measures he takes for this business.

Their property is lovely and absolutely spotless.
After a lie in, we were met in the kitchen with a lovely homemade breakfast and great conversation.

Extremely disspointed with the cleanliness. First room was filled with hair, second room had a huge spider and the third room had a bug but we stayed in the third room. Really dusty, my frinds sheet were yelllow. I would not recommand and I won’t be back any time soon.

It was not too far from the motorway but far enough that you could not hear road noise. We were 3 adults in one room and it was tight for space but fine for just one night. The breakfast was good and worth paying for,
Excellent location in Jabbeke, close to Brugge and Oostende. House is located near center of town, within walking distance. We have been coming to Jabbeke annually for 15+ years and have tried various locations before. Kastanjeboom has by far the best breakfast and the nicest hosts. Will definitely book there again next year. Highly recommended!
Jabbeke is located in a quiet area near the water, but also nearby the city of Ostend and the city of Bruges.
We enjoyed the relaxed and quiet atmosphere of this beautiful B&B. The room was very nice and clean, we even had a terrace attached to our room. Breakfast was served in a carefully dressed room, great setting!
Best hotel / B&B of our entire trip in Belgium. Beautiful house and gardens, cute decor and rooms, a great breakfast and such a lovely owner. Able to get to Brugge by car in about 10 min. We truly enjoyed every minute.

Nothing. Bad customer service. I did not stay at this hotel I booked it by accident but I stayed with their hotel just different location but received no refund and had to pay TWICE!!!!
Great budget hotel to sleep while visiting Flanders by car. Easy to reach location for drivers, great and clean facilities, good breakfast and a nice view of a small lake.
It’s clean, tidy and the room was lovely. I stayed in the ibis budget near Brussels a few days before and the Jabbeke one is so much better. Parking is €7.50 per night.
