Amazing location. Beautiful food, and hostess! Breakfast was very nice. So much food. Such a warm and welcoming space to relax. A little ways out of town but nestled in beautiful quiet countryside. Still only minutes by car from the train station into Brussels. Where parking is free on Saturday!

I was skeptical at the beginning but once I entered the property, felt really well. A big property with lush green garden around. Ample parking space for free, rooms are spacious and well maintained. Facilities are really well. A common kitchen is available for everyone to use. Bathroom is private and spacious. Overall a really good place to stay and have fun.

Breakfast was wonderful. The view from the room very nice. The owners were exceptionally nice and helpful. Access to the forest was good though it required a long walk. You really needed to drive there.

We have been travelling a lot these last 10 years, but there was not a single B&B that would come close to the quality, cleanliness and hospitality that we experienced at Hallerbos B&B; the views over the forest, the sunrises are exceptional; Melissa and Jaak, the owners of the place are most lovely and will always find a way to accommodate your wishes. We have been their guests already three times and will surely come back.
Very friendly hosts, good conversations, and practical help beyond expectations. There was some remodeling going on but all amenities had been kept clean and functional. I enjoyed the generous breakfast and overall an experience like an homestay with friends. The location is at the outskirts of a suburb. The train to Brussels is fast and frequent, the walk to Halle Station is over 25 minutes though.

The room is perfect: clean, quiet, comfortable. WiFi is good and easy to use. Breakfast is lovely. The restaurant is absolutely worth the trip for! The food is awesome; local food and fine dining, really excellent! The bed is comfy and there is a nice chair, and a good desk with a chair. The room is well equipped. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor. There is parking nearby. Super nice people, caring and friendly! Lovely hotel!
Breakfast was simple but nice. And the staff will cook you eggs in several ways if you want.
The canal just outside the hotel is under major renovation but it is already a nice walk for exercise after your work day. 5+ Km round trip either way (walk until you find a bridge to turn around at)
De Kaai offers a spotless clean room, originally decorated, where you find an oasis of rest. It was surprising and well above the standards of any hotel room. Well situated, there is a possibility of a late check-out. It is just all wonderfull and worth to be recommended to everyone !
Valerie was a delight, she welcomed us and showed us the parking in the gardens, then the room and then the breakfast room. beautiful gardens, lovely mini hotel with three rooms. very quiet and secure grounds. much better than the pictures show.
