The room was very comfortable. It was in a very scenic location, close to the motorway, for a break in my journey from the UK to Switzerland. Restaurant on site, food was ample good and well priced.

An exceptional small hotel ,all staff very courteous, who, on the whole spoke very little or no English, with the exception of the proprietors, but managed to cater for our needs well the hotel itself is quirky, olde worlde style, the flight of stairs to our room were steep and narrow

The location of the hotel was perfect, quiet and peaceful yet not too off the beaten track. We were travelling from the UK to Europa Park in Germany and this was the perfect place to stop en route. The staff were welcoming, location very pretty and the hotel charming and authentic. The rooms were traditional and very comfortable. The was a stream opposite for the dog to splash in if needed and a lovely bar area where we sat outside for a drink in the evening. I was a little concerned about the dog getting too hot as no air con, however the rooms weren't at all warm despite the warm weather because the building is old and cool. There was a cosy bar inside also for cooler months/weather. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, the tastiest pastries ever! We would love to return here in the future.

This place has a spectacular location with a fabulous view. The room was at the top of the building in the attic so didnt enjoy the same view. It was quite a big room but a funny shape with a tiny bathroom. It was ok for one. The bed was comfy the linen was lovely and the restaurant was top class. The beer selection is amazing. They let me park the motorbike on the hard standing which was very good. A friendly crowd.

The whole hotel environment was lovely, very clean and with excellent facilities. The room was great , very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent shower. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
