Great place as a base to cycle around Geraardsbergen and at the same time have more room for yourselves than in a city-center. Staying in the farmers-area gives such a nice calm feeling, with only the sound of some birds when having dinner or a beer in the evening on the pation outside.
We were in Everbeek for the Challenge Geraardsbergen Triathlon. So to all the cyclists around; stay in Everbeek if you like it a little more quiet than the town of Geraardsbergen, and still want to be close of enough to be there within 10 minutes.
