This property feels like a timeshare or part of a retirement village. There are lots of small houses in one area, with numbered parking (there was plenty anyway). It took us a little while to find the property, which is a very short walk from the car park. It is quite small and compact, with a double bedroom and a bunkbed bedroom behind curtains (not doors). There is a washing machine and a small terrace outside. There is a bar which is chargeable. There is tourist tax to pay upon arrival.
B&B De Rentmeesterhoeve is located in an historical farmhouse from the 17th century. Parking is free of charge. The rooms are spacious and have a fireplace. There is also free WiFi.

We've spent an incredibly relaxing weekend here. With 3 different kind of sauna, a jacuzzi, walk-in shower and a lovely fireplace outside. Extremely nice people running the place, 5 star quality of the room and surroundings. It's a great place for people who just wants to relax, for people who wants to spend an active time on their bicycle and relax later or a great gateway to a trip between Belgium and France. We are already looking forward to coming back, this time with our dog!

François was the perfect host: very friendly and helpful. The manor is beautiful and beautifully decorated and in a superb setting. We loved the bar billiard table and the absolute quietness during the night. Vegan options at sumptuous breakfast were much appreciated. FIrst time I've ever had locally produced oat milk - and it was very good.
Dranouter isn't much to write home about as a village.
Dranouter isn't much to write home about as a village. If you want to be able to go do a bunch of stuff, this isn't your place. But if you are looking for a quiet getaway for friends, family, or a couple, you really will like it. The village with a couple restaurants was within walking distance, there were grocery stores, very nice restaurants, wineries, and historical sites within a 10 minute drive, too.
Smallish family run hotel in remote, rural, quiet location but within easy reach of A25 Calais -Lille highway. Large restaurant which provides excellent views over the surrounding countryside and is obviously very popular with walkers and cyclists as the hotel is situated on number of walking/cycling trails. Good well presented food albeit with fairly limited menu. Good choice of beers. Friendly, helpful staff. Large comfortable room with balcony. Ample free parking.
Attractive and comfortable country hotel with nice restaurant on small country lane close enough to visit (by car) many of the 1914-18 WW1 museums and memorials e.g Ypres, Passchendaele etc…..
Very nice large room with big comfy bed, pretty wooden bath, fabulous walk-in shower and large private outside terrasse with lots of seating.
Excellent breakfast with everything you might want incl. eggs cooked « à la minute » to your taste.
The owners and their staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is a lovely building and our room was very comfortable. The hotel will be even better in the near future when work on a pool in the grounds is completed. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent, as was the inclusive breakfast. Log fire in the restaurant gave a cosy ambiance.
A wonderful hotel, which is ideally positioned for cyclists for the iconic kemmelberg and especially the cobbled section. This hotel can cope with single travelers through to large family groups, the staff are wonderfully attentive without being imposing. This hotel is a traditional place with a modern facilities where they should.
