Very interesting place, with a spectacular fortress on a high cliff; impressive architecture; the Lefe beer museum is a little more commercialised than I like; the cave Grotte La merveilleuse is impressive. There are several castles and castle ruins around from different historical periods. Great place to visit! Kayaking and rock climbing is also a thing here, although it's not our cup of tea.

Beautifull small village in a very nice location. The castle offers a nice experience and you can have good food in Dinant. There are a lot of short excursions you can have starting from Dinant. A very nice destination for a short vacation.

the one ticket that includes the cable car, tour of the citadel and then the boat trip is a bargain, next time Ill choose the 2hr boat trip instead of the 45 minutes, so relaxing.
lots of resteraunts to choose from although it pays to book ahead in the evenings.
the town itself is very clean and tidy, no rubbish anywhere.

Dinant is a charming spot on the River Meuse. It is well provided with restaurants, less well so with accommodation in the centre. Although there are good train links to/from Brussels a car is probably necessary to make the most of a visit.

Super clean and well appointed. The nicest sheets I’ve ever slept on! Great bathroom. Location can’t be beat. We couldn’t find a corkscrew so I messaged the proprietor to ask where else it might be. He apologized and suggested asking at one of the close restaurants as “people in Dinant are very friendly”. Off I went with my wine bottle under my arm. I walked into the nearest restaurant and the maître d’ was most accommodating! Voila! We enjoyed our wine in our perfect comfortable living room. (See photo)❤️
The perfect location for a visit to Dinant. Across the street from the Sax Museum, down the street from the church and cable car to the Citadel. Staff was not onsite but available via WhatsApp and VERY responsive. Fourth floor room was a lot of stairs to get to but the view was worth it and the room was large and very comfortable. We also had a room on the first floor which was spacious with large, comfortable beds.
+ 15 minutes walking distance to the town/river (easy to go but difficult return due to uphill road and pavement in not good condition)
+ Big Dinant supermarkets, bakeries etc. close (5 mins by car. Could go on foot but uphill road).
+ Easy parking (but sometimes very busy)
+ Two bedrooms with big double (only double) comfortable beds
+ Well equipped kitchen, but the refrigerator does not include a freezer
The property is spacious and comfortable, and it's good for a group of friends to stay. The location is in a small village near the Dinant center which is 10 mins by car. So it's very quiet but convenient.
The Gardedn in the back yard is excellent, we had a very fresh and enjoyable breakfast there with the countryside view.
Brilliant location right in the heart of Dinant. We were on bicycles and it was easy to keep them in the lobby. Not sure where you'd park a car! Apartment is very spacious and two bedrooms have lovely views over the river. We were ther over the Ascension Day holidat and there was a lively, fun atmosphere in Dinant.
Room is nice, bright lighting, not too big but good enough for 2 persons, location is 1 km from nearest station Yvoir (station before Dinant) which is walkable and nice road. Breakfast is just decent (you may skip). Service and staffs are pretty good.
A very special hotel, you feel inside an abbey. The breakfast has enough variety. There is free parking space available and in 10 minutes walk you are already in the center of Dinant.
The location is good to spend few days visiting the surroundings.
It was a wonderful and peaceful stay! I regret I haven’t stayed for one more night at this cozy hotel. Owners are really nice, they’ve let me leave my luggage before the check-in, so I was able to explore the beautiful Dinant.
the host is very hospitable! he showed us the Real Belgium and was very helpful in organising our trip properly. if you visiting him, do not forget to try his special omelette. would love to definitely come again
