We went off season so got a good deal with a wonderful breakfast included. No parking issues at all in the street but that may be different in high season. We lacked the time to test the heated outdoor swimming pool and sauna facilities, so we'll gladly come back another time. They offer early check-in which is convenient. Staff was very friendly.

We've been in the summer and winter as we have family living here. Beaches are fabulous in the summer & winter months, so much to do, always seems to be something going on somewhere along the coast, Christmas is fantastic, bike rentals are a must.

De Haan was lovely. It seems to be an upmarket seaside town. I imagine it would look amazing in the summer, although with the Christmas lights it was magical at this time of year. Not many options for restaurants and most were very expensive. There was a lovely pop-up bar (basically an alpine-style wooden hut) which was rammed full every night with affordable beers and great atmosphere.

Lovely beach, really wide and long. Great supermarket (Delhaize) for self catering. Easy transport along the coast using the tram. Nice little town and the only one with low rise buildings behind the beach unlike the rest of the Belgian coast which has high rise apartments.

Very pretty and clean., tasteful resort. All low rise buildings. Great that the tram runs the length of the Belgian coast line. Lots of opportunities for cycling, walking. Restaurant, fish options great.very hospitable friendly staff with multi languages.
Cocktail bar Rogers was very good. All the restaurants were busy and full!

Most recommended "Sea Bath" at the Belgian Channel Coast! No High-Rising, Ugly Hotel Castles. The City of De Haan has - mostly - maintained a wonderful "historic look" of the Beach Front and the whole town, in contrast to the other villages, North and South! :-)

Small town at the seaside. Nice beach. Restaurants, shops etc. Ideal for people and families who prefer a smaller more quiet place. Someone looking for a more vivid atmosphere may prefer Knokke or Ostende.
Beautiful hotel just a block off the beachfront and close to restaurants. We had a room with views of trees and the quaint courtyard. So relaxing! We slept well with the sea air. Feels like the hotel was recently upgraded since the fixtures, bed, and bath looked new. The breakfast was excellent: carefully planned, beautifully balanced, and the bread is the BEST in Belgium! The owners and staff clearly care about the property and their guests’ experience. Glad we booked several months in advance since the rooms filled up for a holiday.
Beautifully decorated, high spec, great facilities, stunning room. The hospitality extended by Wim and family was amazing. I read the reviews of the breakfast but nothing prepares you for the locally sourced gourmet feast that awaits each morning! There are fantastic restaurants nearby and De Haan itself is a really lovely place to go on holiday to. So many great cities and towns within a short driving distance. B&B d’oude brouwerij is a gem of a place and is faultless. You need to visit!!
We had a most wonderful one day stay in Maison Rabelais. The hosts created an atmosphere, which was warm, cosy and family like. Wonderful welcoming cake, delicious breakfast, privacy, very enjoyable common area, and the location couldn't be better in De Haan. What is definitely better than other B&Bs in the area is that Maison Rabelais is not at all pretentious, but truly welcoming towards guests, so we felt more comfortable, particularly with kids. We will be back for sure.
It is a fantastic property. A house with a soul a decorated with taste. Location wise, it could not be better. Walking distance from the beach. Beautiful area of De Haan and in a quite street. Clean and well maintained swimming pool, beautiful garden. The breakfast topped it all. All local quality products served with care and taste to be eaten in the house our outside. In short, a fantastic property that ticks all the boxes including a place to park your car.
We spent a very enjoyable week in House C. The place is spacious and very stylishly renovated. The kitchen is well equipped. The whole place is very clean.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Francis, who also provided helpful tips for things to do with young kids. We enjoyed the area. The walk to the beach through the woods and the dunes is nice. We used the tram to get to De Haan and the car for further away destinations.

We are travelers from Australia and found this wonderful "oasis" which was superb/ fabulous location /extremely lovely hosts who were very hospitable and we very much enjoyed talking to them/the breakfast was fabulous with little specialties from Spain and elsewhere. The atmosphere and furniture of the Hotel was quite unique with a sense of the 1930,s. One word..........FANTASTIC.
This is a very nice apartment very close to the De Haan beach (max 5 minute walk) -- and De Haan is probably the best spot on the entire Belgian coast. The unit is light, with generous windows, and can accommodate up to 5 people. Very well-equipped.
A gorgeous country house-style hotel just 10 minutes walk from the centre of De Haan. Welcoming hosts, a glass of champagne on arrival, a well-stocked ‘honesty’ bar and very dog friendly too. Breakfast set us up for the day. We couldn’t ask for more.
The De Torre apartment is a modern, comfortable, full of amenities and an absolutely gorgeous apartment. It is located in the center of De Haan within walking distance to shopping, a beautiful park, the seaside and many restaurants.
The women who run the place are absolutely on point. They could not have been more accommodating and nice. It’s perfectly located for De Haan and roads out of it. It was our base for a week and worked perfectly.
The breakfast was great (only the eggs were a little underdone). Very good service and friendly hotel owner. Location was super close to the beach. Quick checkin and checkout. We also had a nice little balcony.
Astoria is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of De Haan. It’s close to the beach and many cafes and shops. This family run hotel really does make you feel welcome, including free drinks on arrival.
