A good place for a short stay if you spend time exploring the area, such as hiking or a short day trip, and use the hotel for bed and breakfast. The price/quality ratio is more than acceptable. We arrived late due to delay in Chunnel and contacted hotel to say we would arrive after check in closed. They were very accommodating and even arranged for a local restaurant to stay open for us.
