The location was super good, right on the river and the Crooked Bridge with a great view and a 5 minutes walk to the Old bridge. The rooms were clean and my friend's room even had a small balcony directly over the river. The breakfast was very varied with small cakes, but also cheese and ham, muesli and fruit. The staff were very friendly and many of the reception stuff could even speak German with us. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice stay in the best located hotel in Mostar (100m from the old town). the owner who happened to speak French gave us a two-hour city tour which was very instructive. The hotel is very comfortable and the breakfast was nice. We also had a covered parking for our motorbikes, which we never had elsewhere during our trip to Croatia.

It's absolutely beautiful! The Old Bridge (which was rebuilt after the war) is a favourite tourist attraction so the area was quite busy. There are loads of restaurants, gift shops and bars. Try Craft Beer Garden for local ales with a terrace next to the river. Our favourite restaurant was called Malo Misto - superb food, lovely atmosphere, great prices, just outside the central area.
Be aware that there are no shops open on Sundays, and hardly any taxis. We drove our rental car into the centre on Sunday and found free parking and plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Mostar is very pretty, famously so.
Mostar is very pretty, famously so. The Old Town is small, and the new town has nothing to offer tourists, so do stay in the Old Town as close to the Bridge as possible. During the day there are hordes of day trippers, but at night it is much quieter and very lovely, so staying the night is essential; I stayed two nights which was just fine. It is very picturesque but that is it - there are no headline museums etc. Lots of touristy places to eat, all much of a muchness. As with the rest of BiH, very reasonably priced. Great ice cream! If you are interested in the civil war, there are many signs in the new town and on the edge of the old town of the conflict. In addition, the old bridge is of course a reconstruction as is most of the old town.

Super cozy town to wander through.
Super cozy town to wander through. Nice little shops with handmade products, many restaurants and café with cheap food and drink.
Just avoid the cafee under the bridge called Eko co. Worst service and bad coffee - not autenthic Bosnian. Super expensive.

Mostar is a captivating city that embodies a unique blend of historical gravitas and scenic charm, making it a must-visit destination in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nestled along the picturesque Neretva River, the city is famed for its iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), a stunning example of Islamic architecture in the Balkans and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This historic bridge, beautifully reconstructed after the war, provides a symbolic connection between the city's diverse cultural and religious communities.
Visitors can explore the cobbled streets of the Old Bazaar, where traditional craft shops and quaint cafes offer a taste of local life and hospitality. The Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque is another highlight, offering panoramic views of the city from its minaret. Also FORTICA is the best place to see Mostar from the hill, highly recommend take taxi 1km per Kilometre… ask driver for pick up later or walk down.
Mostar also serves as a gateway to explore the region's natural beauty. Nearby attractions include the emerald waters of the Kravica Waterfall and the serene Blagaj Tekija, a Dervish monastery nestled against a cliff beside the Buna River, which is perfect for a peaceful afternoon outing and Pocitelj ahistorical place!
With its rich history, stunning architecture, and warm, welcoming atmosphere, Mostar is truly a jewel worth exploring. Each corner of the city offers new delights and a chance to step back in time while enjoying the vibrant local culture.
Best place to eat and value for money:
- Cernica chevabdzinca, (a hidden gem) mix grill platter 40km in Cernica street, also Rodjeni Pie shop.
- Best Pizza (cappricioza my fav) in Nidze Veze in Boulevar opposite the Catholic church.
- Asdzinica Saraj by the Karadzozbeg Mosque, best to eat early between 10-12am, best traditional food reasonable prices
Malta - outside Mostar on the way to Blagaj fabulous food reasonable priced

Even in spring, the famous bridge attracts an awful lot of tourists in the day and early evening, so do bear this in mind and be patient. However it is definitely worth seeing (best from the river) and if the weather is good do wait for the locals jumping off the bridge - this takes place about every 30-minutes. If you're on the bridge the divers may ask if can make a contribution. don't overlook the rest of the town and you can still see traces of the civil war if you walk further out. Sadly, someone removed the Bruce Lee statue, only the pedestal remains. Highly recommend train journey between Mostar and Sarajevo.
Fantastic hotel with all that you need for a short stay in mostar.
Excellent location to see the stari most. Literally across the road and short walk down to the old town. Shops and other necessities are all off the main boulevard.
Very clean and modern furnishings. We had a large room that was comfortable to move around in and had all the essentials.
Great breakfast included, which was good quality and a range of food options.
Reception was friendly and informative with Mostar and surroundings. Highly recommend this hotel. 👌
Oh my God, where do I begin? Simply the best hotel experience I have ever had. The owners take the cake. They are like new friends right away. We sat drinking really really good coffee talking about life and their adventures in Italy. The lovely owners, Omer and his wife have a heart of gold. Soo kind and fun to talk to. The rooms are ultra clean and modern. The pool is sooo nice and relaxing. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel is you are in the area. Super close to all the action in Mostar.
I just fell in love with this room overlooking the river. Very colorful Bosnian house in the city center. I think this is the best location in Mostar. I liked my room so much that I didn’t even want to go out for a walk). It was very cozy, like from a fairy tale. Grape leaves grow on the windows. The house is perfectly clean, not a speck of dust. Everywhere smells of freshly washed bedding. Large beautiful kitchen with everything you need. Very responsive host, answered all my many questions)
Villa Botticelli was one of the highlights of our trip to Bosnia. It’s in a great location in Mostar — just a short walk to the busy main strip, but it feels so peaceful oasis. We loved sitting on the terrace when we weren’t exploring the town. The innkeeper was great, too. She was very friendly and helpful and gave us some good tips on restaurants and things to see in town. And she let us try her homemade rakjia, too!
Very close to lovely old town of Mostar, easy flat walk. Lots of restaurants cafes and shops there. Property had secure parking on sight. Very friendly host met us with keys. Huge property two large double rooms, kitchen area and separate bathroom. It’s a must to go to the war museum very very interesting but so sad to see the horrendous events that took place and the suffering and torture during the Bosnian war.
I think this is one of the best Hotels in Mostar. It have more than we expect. Location is great almost next to the famous Mostar Bridge. The only problem that we find is walking from the old town to the hotel as the hotel is on the hill. But in exchange you get awesome view of the full Mostar city. The spa is amazing for all the travellers who want to relax for few days.
The hotel is like a fairy tale. The food in the restaurant was the best on my 9-day trip through Bosnia. The rooms are very modern and clean. The location is the best in the heart of the old town next to the river. The staff fulfills every wish you have. I recommend this fabulous hotel to everyone who visits Mostar to stay here .
It was in perfect location. The staff was really nice. Also the bed was perfect, very hard and large. Air conditioner in the room was working great. It was located at the other side of the room so it was not disturbing when you were at sleep. Compared to the othet hotels in Bosnia - with that money, you can't go any better.
The hotel was a perfect place to stay to visit Mostar. The owners at the very beginning gave all the most important information about sightseeing and the city, and it was just a short walk to get to the old town part of the city. The standard was very good, the room was comfortable, spacious, and cozy. Breakfast was tasty.
The place was awesome with up to date technologies and comfort. It offered way more comfort for a cheaper price than what you find at a regular Hotel room. Safe for cars with an underground garage. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again when I visit Mostar. Thank you. ❤️
This hotel is all about location, and that location is most important (and this one is spectacular). At 5+ is the view from the terrace, right on the Old Bridge in Mostar. You won't meet friendlier hosts in Bosnia than these, the place is also unique and premium - highly recommended.
Everything was amazing, best experience on Booking so far. Host was super kind and helpful, even helped us to get best table in nearby restaurant. We had complimentary fruit, water and even small details like baby shampoo. Will be my top choice when I decide to come to Mostar again.
Location in Mostar was fantastic. Easy to find and in town centre. Hotel had parking.
Host was really welcoming and had great local knowledge.
Couldn't ask any more for our short stay.
Perfect location to take in the old town.
My first time visiting Mostar and having a fabulous time, especially the hotel that we stayed at the staff went beyond expectations to make sure you get everything and anything you need. I would highly recommend this hotel
The staff was fantastic and looked out for our needs. The breakfast was fantastic and the location couldn’t be beat. A culturally authentic hotel in the center of the old town of Mostar just steps from the Old Bridge.
the host!! he's a former guide so he spent 30min went thru the map and what we should do in Mostar. He's very nice and accommodating and chill.
The hotel has free parking. it's very close to the main things.
Really nice place, a good location, Mostar old bridge is approximately 10 minutes walk. The room was clean, and the hosts were really nice.
If I visit again, I will definitely book the room at this hotel
I didn’t expect much when we booked the hotel, probably being the only British tourists in Bosnia. The Hotel was grand for the city and very close to the bridge which we wanted to visit
Clean, quiet and modern little hotel with very friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast was also very nice. Location was perfect, with the Mostar bridge maybe a 5 minute walk.
