Very quiet, neat and clean place. The owner and other staff are very pleasant and approachable. The hotel has everything you need and the interior is pleasant. Part of the hotel is Crepe Caffe, where you can eat everything from salty to sweet recipes, and the coffee is excellent. The music (according to my taste) could be more foreign than domestic and certainly quieter. In short, a very pleasant stay and we will definitely return when visiting Medjugorje again.

Favourite places were the Church for English Mass and the open air adoration and prayer ceremonies. Blue Cross Mountain lovely and apparition Hill with lovely view of Medugorje. Hotel medugorje nice with lovely breakfast. Air con was not the best. The Spa was a joke, kept waiting ,therapist left room after starting massage and couldent fit it all in as she said they had more appts. Bad massage, no customer care, no music no ambience ,.loud talking heard from reception desk outside.
Best restaurants were Colombo and Tomato .The people themselves were very nice mostly. Easy to walk around the town . Taxi 150 one way from and to airport .

I would highly recommend visiting if you always wanted to or have never been.

Medjugorje which i have been to since the 1980s is a religous and pilgrimage site, unfortantly being overwhelmed by souvenier shops selling cheap stuff made in china. It can be overcrowded and very warm

It was clean and breakfast was excellent. Breakfast included eggs and breakfast meats it was not a simple breakfast as in most places.
Beds a bit creaky but mattresses comfy. linens and towels worn a bit but a fine place if you're looking for good location and clean. Showers updated and work very well with good water pressure. Do not expect a fancy hotel. This is a simple hotel that serves its purpose.
It's the staff that made our stay so special. They are such an asset to this hotel...the hotel clean warm & comfortable. Loved my room with the balcony overlooking the immaculate pool. Pity the weather didn't cooperate (too cold for swims)!! Good variety of breakfast (hot/cold items but the bread alone :delicious! Had the tasty pizza too: inhaled it.. hope I can get a room there again on my next visit 🙏..
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Barbaric. It's in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the bus station, which was ideal for me. There's a supermarket nearby, and it is just a 5 minute walk to the Church.
I felt my pilgrimage began the moment I walked in. The hotel has a very peaceful feeling. I came to Medjugorje to pray, and for some rest. I liked the homely rooms, everything was very clean.
The property is fairly new with upscale furnishings and finishings. The location is walking distance to the sanctuary at Medjugorje and restaurants. The breakfast which was included with the room was a feast with fresh homemade breads, fruit, yogurt, cheeses, eggs to order etc etc etc
The best part of the stay was the staff—very caring, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend this hotel.
The owner James was very accommodating to every request and strive to make sure our stay at his property was pleasant and satisfactory. He provided shuttle service (at a better rate than taxi services and other hotels) from airports, drive us to places on day trips at a very reasonable rate, etc.
Wonderful Staff, very friendly and helpful at all times. Hotel is excellent and has all the amenities that you need. The location is great, it is close to everything. We loved the beautiful view of the mountains and Cross Mountain (Križevac). Highly recommended, thank you to the lovely Staff 😊
The hotel is new so everything is new! Bathroom is amazing and big and the spa is good. Breakfast was delicious and included and there is a shopping mall infront of the hotel so you can buy anything you need. Room was quiet so I was able to sleep!
