We had a great day. The place was very quiet, it has a nice and clean swimming pool, there was a nice barbeque area, there was a place to sit and the staff had a view of the green garden. It was wonderful that Vasif welcomed us and took care of us.

The location and the room interior were awesome.
It was located in a beautiful place surrounded by mountains that gives you a nice view. Enjoy the the nature in a cold weather. It rained in both night of our stay. The staff are really nice and kind. A lot restaurants are there in the neighborhood reachable on foot in few minutes.

Although there is a ski resort in Shadag nearby which must be awesome in winter. We came in summer which is green and beautiful all around. Lots of fresh fruits to eat. Stay in Nahour by the lake . It’s really lovely. Book a cottage

The city of Gabala is beautiful, there is plenty of greenery, its mountains are charming, its forests are cool. Restaurant prices are reasonable. There are more places to visit in Gabala compared to Guba, and the city of Gabala is even bigger. Its people are simple. This is a safe place.

I am amazed by the natural beauty of Gabala. Lush green plains and mountains . Its so quite and peaceful that I would stay atleast 3 - 5 days here. Also Gabala is the center from where all other locations like Sheikhi, Shamakhi, Lahichee and Ismailli is 2 hours drive so better to stay in Gabala and explore other cities in day time

Gabala is a small city.
Gabala is a small city. Overall, the resorts and hotels are on the outskirts. The city is very clean but basic. Nothing fancy going here. Lives are very simple. People are kind and humble. Local restaurants are there but the pricing is different if you are a tourist. Overall, a nice quiet country side.

If u need a break in your hectic life and wanna be close to nature , gabala is the perfect spot to visit, has an amazing range of mountains and forest, with lovely restaurants nestled in the forest and if this wasn't enough they have multiple waterfalls and a big lake for the vacationer to unwind relax and enjoy , a perfect place for adults and families
I love that the location doesn’t require me to travel to enjoy the snow activities. My room was overlooking the lake and it was beautiful! The facilities are great, the hallways were warm with beautiful paintings and smells good, the restaurant both bar and the Elite served tasty food. The spa was also cozy enough to relax after a tiring day of snow activities. Best part is the staff were exceptional, they were kind and accomodating to requests, clearly attentive to their guests. Thank you for the wonderful experience Qafqaz! ❤️

Its only saving grace is the location. It is situated near the city center and restaurants so you won't have to worry about food and groceries. And most importantly the scenery surrounding the hotel is very beautiful so if you are a nature lover you would like that. The included breakfast was the same everyday and as the cook does not know English it is very difficult to customize your omelette with something as simple as chilly flakes.
The location of the property really does justice to the name of the hotel. It has the most stunning landscape around the hotel and the same view from the room. You stay away from the hustle bustle of city life (network coverage is low and internet will not work but I count that as a positive because that's what you want in a place like this). We really enjoyed doing bbq at night and loved the entire atmosphere.
the property is in the city area. the taxi is easily available outside hotel. the hotel room was spacious and clean. our breakfast was included and it was good buffet breakfast. the name of hotel was little confusing for taxi drivers as it is called city hotel but tufandag make it confuse becz it is another area name in Gabala. overall it was very good experience
Better home stay when compared to all other stays I had in Azerbaijan. Especially the host and the villas. How beautiful he arranged all villas with a garden in between. Found apricots apples pomegranates etc.. Lovely place for family and affordable for solo travelers.
He offered me Tea and some food items without asking!!
The hotel was pretty and spacious. The staff spoke conversational English (rare in Azerbaijan) and were very accommodating. They also gave us a free upgrade without us even asking. Breakfast buffet has more items than I could even try. I asked for my eggs a specific way and they made them for me with a smile every morning.
nice room, with supernice view to the garden and the sunset. breakfast in the garden. few minutes by car to nohur lake or gabala. very nice location. One night we were very hungry and was late to go and search for a restaurant, the hotel very kind prepare for us a tray with some bread, kebab, cheese, salad and tea.
The hotel is located in a very quiet and clean place in Gabala and it is very close to the Tufandang Mountain Resort. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, with basic facilities like kettle and toiletries. The lady at the reception was very friendly and courteous, and the stay was very memorable.
The hotel rooms were quite big, clean and facilities were great. Internet was very good as compared to usual WiFi we observed around Azerbaijan. Staff was cooperative as well. Location is opposite to central juma mosque.
