We totally recommend this hostel/guest house in Lahic. This guest house is run by a very hospitable, friendly, kind, and helpful family. They invited us for dinner and we ended up having a very great time with them. The guest house is a traditional building right in the heart of Lahic. It's near a mosque on a small square where many locals gather. From the balcony, you have a nice view and the garden is beautiful.
This accommodation is a good value for money!

I booked this place because of reviews. However I was disappointed from the first time we arrived at this place. The cottage complex is located in Pirgulu around 30 min from the center of Shamakhi. Since the premise is located on the top of the mountain I don’t recommend this place for families with little babies. We couldn’t even walk with child outdoor. The only thing we liked about the hotel was kind staff and fresh weather. Hotel manager Nasimi was helpful and waitress Amrah also tried to help us. Continental breakfast was also ok.

We visited Lakeside Garden Ismayilli with our family for a day. It truly is a beautiful, peaceful, and serene place. It's an ideal escape from the city noise and unpleasant weather. Green nature, natural village delights, attentive and friendly service—everything was excellent. The evening samovar tea, unlimited and complimentary for everyone, was a special treat. Surrounded by greenery, a gentle breeze, and sweets with samovar tea, it felt like a meditation. Additionally, we enjoyed the friendship of a cat named Mesi, who made us feel welcome as if we had known each other for years. We will definitely visit again and recommend it to everyone. Special thanks to Natiq, Reyhan, Gunel, Ramtiq, and Gultac for making our day filled with pleasant memories.
Lahic and the area are an exceptional place.
Except for a single touristy street, the rest of the (small) town is beautiful, original, friendly, and ancient.
Even for high Azerbaijani standards, people are very hospitable and friendly.
It is also a great starting point for day hikes and longer hikes.
