1. The hotel industry is full of fraudsters. We had worst experience with several room bookings. They make the booking and cancel themselves without information or citing stupid reasons.
2. Traffic is horrible. People drive like crazy with complete disregard to traffic regulations. Police is looking for tourist to catch them and take money from visitors. We paid 2 times to police in 4 days of stay minimum 100 manat.
3. Roads are horrible. Rod to Gabala is under construction.
4. Tourist Sites are ok but not exceptional

Baku is a very beautiful city in the Caspian sea. The city center known as Targovu has a very clean street and full of nice Russian imperial architecture. Targovu is close to the Caspian coast or old city. I would recommend a stay of maximum 4 days in Baku.

Beautiful city next to the Caspian sea with nice walking boulevard next to the sea. Lively city with plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs. The old city is part of UNESCO heritage sites and is worthwhile the visit.
The staff is great. They speak English and they contacted me directly after I booked. Mr. Murad, Mr. Nariman and Mr. Ibrahim were all genuinely friendly, real people with the willing to help. I enjoyed my stay. You'll get more than what you paid for at this hotel. Don't over think it, book it now.
It's in the top of the old city, and the roof top overseas Baku and the Twin Flame towers. Also the sea. All in all I will definitely make this the hotel I always choose when I come to Baku.

when i get to book my trip in Baco i read the reviews as always and noticed a review said that it’s not fair for the hotel to be only four stars i though the guest maybe gave over appreciation but after five days in the hotel I totally accept with him that hotel must be 5 stars for facilities and staff and rooms and clean food too everything was really perfect and if i get back to baku for sure i’ll be a guest in holiday inn again

Everything about this property is perfect with most friendly staff especially Mr Tahir manager is an amazing person who puts his heart and soul to make your stay memorable. It also has fabulous restaurant and bar which served most delicious drinks, breakfast and dinner. We would highly recommend this place to everyone. We will definitely come back to this hotel again.

Very nice new hotel on central location, with all facilities and comfortable stay. Room is really big enough with bakcony and amazing view to the central park. Tv is smart with internet connection. This hotel was even better than what seems to be on Booking. Staff was very welcoming, services were amazing and the position is perfect, very close to the Old City and also close to the Promenade that makes the perfect spot to visit Baku both for pleasure or work. The rooms are clean, fully equipped and the laundry service is formidable. Highly recommended! I will surely turn back soon.

Excellent location of the hotel in the old city, not far from the fountain square and the boulevard. Nice and clean room, friendly staff who are always ready to help. Breakfast is served on the top floor with a beautiful view of Baku, quite a varied breakfast for different preferences. The only positive I found with this hotel was the location as it was in the heart of Old City Baku and right next to the Metro. Also, a very good walking distance to some very nice restaurants. And, the fire towers can easily be viewed from this distance.
Well, this hotel is one of the best goto hotel in Baku city, and the staff, Mr. Ali, Samir, Zaid, Fakhri, to name a few, they were all great at their services. Great staff and great facilities. A total value for money, more than expected facility.
If you want to go to Baku for a couple of days or a week, go to the Deniz Inn Boutique Hotel. In the heart of Old City, near Maiden Tower. The breakfast is great and served at the time you need. Staff is really helpful.
