Warby cottage is a wonderful destination. We loved the view across the paddock to the Victorian Alps. It is a quiet and beautiful location that is a perfect place to relax. A delicious continental breakfast was provided. The host was friendly and helpful and we loved the animals that were nearby.

We stayed overnight on our way to South Gippsland.
We stayed overnight on our way to South Gippsland. We needed to stop and rest, we also had our small dog which was very appreciative being allowed to stay. Have never stayed in Wangaratta before, it was very nice, close to shops and a beautiful park. Will stay again.

To me, Wangaratta is a hidden gem.
I love it!
To me, Wangaratta is a hidden gem.
I love it! I first chose it due to its relative proximity to ski fields, but once i visited the first time, i was in love.
It is a good size regional centre, has an urban flair, but is immersed in its beautiful parks and bike paths to die for! Great as a hub to explore further out (wine and food, ski fields etc) but also lovely to.
chill out by the rivers or some of its many creeks.
I recommend a self guided walk around its historic buildings (pick up the map from Info centre), swim under the main bridge in summer, of course ride a bike, it's mostly flat and easy
We ate at the hotel restaurant, Atrium and the meals were outstanding. I had the duck breast, my wife had the eye fillet, we share a delicious chocolate brownie desert and our children enjoyed their meals too.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay very welcoming. Even when we went to drove out of their carpark, we found a note on the windscreen explaining they had cleaned it for us and wished us safe travels.
Would stay again!
The pool and really liked that it is dog friendly accommodation with an area out the back to exercise your dog.
The rooms are typical standard motel; clean and good amenities such as toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery & hair dryer.
The pillow was comfortable, the bed was ok (not as comfy as I had expected from other reviews); but better than most motels.
The shower was also good - the water pressure was good and large shower head.
The room was much as expected. It was all the little extras that made our time so comfortable: good quality tea and coffee sachets (rather than the cheap version), an abundance of shampoos and soaps, power blocks on each side of the bed, etc. None of these would have cost much, but the difference they made was immense. Shows a professional and generous approach.
The location was central in Wangaratta, close to shops, but also very private and quiet. The Manager was welcoming, friendly, thoughtful and kind. The Motel was extremely clean, and although older, very well kept and presented. Although travelling alone, I felt very safe. For a stay on a budget, this property exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back.
Billabong Wangaratta was a delight to drive into after staying at some average motels. Staff were wonderful via phone (due to contact free) and very helpful in restaurant suggestions. The rooms were fresh, clean and well appointed. A recently renovated bathroom was amazing. Beds were very comfortable and everything looked new and well thought out.
Excellent Place to stay, very close to all the action that Wangaratta has to offer. Easy to find location and extremely quiet great views of the park next to the hotel. Friendly staff and extremely helpful. very easy check in and check out procedure, comfy beds and all the facilities you could need for your stay.

The motel serviced our needs, we had travelled to Wangaratta for a swimming competition. Location was great as the motel is very close to town (easy walking distance to shops and restaurants) and to the pool (short drive). Room was clean and warm. Plenty of car parking space.
The Gateway exceeded expectations on every level. Communication, check in, cleanliness, room amenities and the hotel facilities were exceptional. The service and food at the restaurant were excellent. I would definitely recommend the Gateway and will enjoy staying again.
the rooms were a very good size, and the hotel provided everything we've requested. All the furniture and facilities were new and clean. very central location to centre of the city, easy to access everything
This, without a doubt, would be the cleanest motel/hotel we have stayed in! Spotless!! Including the pool area and surrounds. Would not stay anywhere else in Wangaratta after staying at Riley's.
Was a great 2 night stay we had , motes extra clean couldn’t fault anything , and the staff were beyond helpful we will definitely be staying there next time we are back in Wangaratta
We were after a hotel where we didn't have use shared spaces - hallways or lifts or carry things upstairs. We like the older style of drive up motels and this one fit the bill well.
The Parkview Motor Inn had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We were pleased to have a separate living room and kitchen rather than just a hotel room.
