I stay at White Albatross regularly and I cannot fault it. I do always stay in a waterfront cabin and they have a lovely outlook. They are very well appointed, unlike another park I stayed at recently which had spartan kitchemn utensils and a two hot plate stove top which would not work. I have learnt my lesson and will now always choose White Albatross!

The views from our two bedroom apartment at the front of the building are superb and the location right opposite the estuary is unmatched.
Marcel is within easy walking distance of our fave restaurant Matilda's and two great cafes, The Wharf and The Boatshed.
The apartments are always clean, well appointed and comfortable, with everything supplied for a self contained holiday.
Opened in February, 2017, Riverside Rest Nambucca Heads features views over the Nambucca River. Free breakfast, WiFi, Netflix, books, games and puzzles are available.

Very cozy atmosphere and hosts, feels brand new but not in a way that lacks soul. There are some small knickknacks/art pieces for sale downstairs which were interesting to look through and added charm.

The staff were very friendly, Cabin was big enough to fit, my wife and I in a double bed, the 3 kids (5,3,1) in 3 smaller bed in one room. The best part was the shower pressure is amazing and instant hot water.. we visited in May and the nights were cold (11c)

The river inlet area was a beautiful area of Nambucca. There is a tavern a short walk from the property, as well as a café and RSL Club that has a nice restaurant with great views. The boardwalk and waterfront is a very popular area for tourists and locals. There is a Woolworths supermarket located a short drive from the property. Some very nice scenic lookouts around the area and a nice golf club.

Only stayed overnight and the weather was not favourable for exploring the town. Ate lunch at the RSL club but most of the club facilities were under renovation. Have visited Nambucca heads before and enjoyed our stay. Ideal place for young people and families.

The town had everything you needed.
The town had everything you needed. The RSL had nice meals and plenty of entertainment. The rocks was a nice place to visit with activities like fishing, walking, relaxing, BBQ's, Beautiful scenery. The town was quite hilly, not suited to walk around the town but driving was fine. Surrounding beaches were beautiful. Taylors arm was about 30 minutes from Nambucca Heads where the pub with no beer is. This was a great place to sit and enjoy the sun and a great lunch. The small church there was also a bit of history for the pub. The staff there were wonderful.
Nambucca Heads is a beautiful place where you could stay for a great holiday, highly recommended and the weather was wonderful too.

The beaches at Nambucca Heads are first class.
The beaches at Nambucca Heads are first class. And there are plenty of great restaurants.. I love Nambucca Heads for a family holiday in a place easily as beautiful as the Byron area.... with a tenth of the tourists. It is also close to the Dorrigo National park for amazing bush walks.
When I arrived I received such a warm welcoming to Riverside Rest and was given plenty to information about the local area and some great recommendations for places to eat. The room itself was lovely, clean and the bed comfy. The bathroom was directly across the hallway was super clean and spacious with a shower and also a bath. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and easy to order the night before. Overall a great stay in Nambucca Heads
Great location, close to the beach, you will need a car for getting around as the hills in Nambucca Heads are crazy. The house is very comfortable and everything we needed was there, it was extremely clean and beautifully presented. A lovely welcome hamper was included which was a nice touch. The food options in Nambucca Heads were very good - shout out to Matilda's - and the beaches were fabulous. We enjoyed our holiday!
The location is fantastic. It is right on the mouth of the river entering the ocean and the apartment has a beautiful view of it all. The apartment really captures the essence of Nambucca Heads and is a short walk from the Wharf Street Cafe and the V Wall of Tavern. Both are really nice venues.
The staff were really helpful to me in sorting a small problem. I would like to thank them ever so much for their help.
Lovely hotel in an excellent location, awesome view frim your balcony . Restraunts and beaches are walking distance. Rooms are spotless & cleaned daily, their Beds are one of the best that I have slept in . FYI Pool.is not heated . Everything else was a seamless experience. From check-in to check out . Thank you to the lovely owners and ckeaning staff for a great time .

Great location, cleanliness and decor! It's on the main road but the room had absolutely no traffic noise. The bathroom was fantastic and modern. Got sent a lovely message detailing how to access the room afterhours, which was very easy to follow. And it was a really lovely courtyard and pool with great views out Nambucca Heads
Being in the centre of town it was so close to everything we needed. Plenty of space for our family's short stay. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all the cooking facilities needed. Communication from the hosts about accessing the house was excellent. Property was really clean. Appreciated the secure parking for our vehicle.
Forest View bungalow was a lovely break enroute to Brisbane from Sydney. Tucked away in the bush, it felt like you were away from the hustle & bustle (despite Nambucca Heads town being a 2-3min drive away!) Fully self contained, it offers a sweet retreat for a while.
Beautiful location out the back of Nambucca Heads. A secluded place with exceptional forest views. Quick walk to the forest with various tracks. This was exactly what we were looking for. Would highly recommend.

Location was great, just a short distance from nambucca heads. The view from the studio was beautiful overlooking the river and mangroves. The grounds were great for walking my dog.
