Barbara and Reo were very attentive to the little details. The room was a total delight, very wonderfully decorated. Kitchen was with bacon,fresh fruits , bread, milk, tea and coffee. Hahndorf is one of the loveliest places going… The atmosphere, the restaurants & cafes, the shops and of course the friendly people there are just wonderful… My husband and I have visited several times from Brisbane and hope to be back again. Love it !!!

Hahndorf is THE must do town in South Australia. Very strong German influence over the past 150 years with many German settings and features. Tree lined streets and low key planning makes Hahndorf a high point of any trip to SA

it is a quaint little town not far from Adelaide. There are wineries and lots of places to eat. The main street has lots of gift shops etc. There is a german influence and town has beautiful treelined streets. Well worth a visit.

Some lovely shops and heritage buildings. The museum at the tourist information centre was great and the staff very helpful. Great antique shop and the German arms hotel had great atmosphere and food as did the German spoon restaurant. Otto's bakery were very accommodating when I ordered Bee string cakes for a day they don't normally bake them. They were to die for. The town gets very busy of a weekend end so get there early to get parking. Beautiful country side and surrounds when you go for a drive. The Beerenberg outlet was good for a visit as well.

Amble at Hahndorf was classy accommodation with all the right touches of homeliness. The kitchen had all you could want to cook your own meals and the bed was comfortable. The bedroom balcony looked out onto a lovely country vista with native birds, ducks and chooks. The location was quiet and within walking distance to the main street of Hahndorf which is well known for its eateries and gift shops.

Very happy with our stay in Hahndorf. 3 nights was perfect. We explored the town. Shopped. Ate delicious German strudel every day. Caught the bus into Adelaide. Looked around Rundle Street
Mall, caught the tram to Glenelg and back, then the bus back to our lovely hotel in Hahndorf. The next day drove to Victor Harbour and back. Great3 day stay. Very pleased with our room.
Motel is very central off main road, with plenty of parking. We could walk all over Hahndorf, didn't need the car. Couldn't really hear the traffic noise as motel is back from the road. Sophie was fabulous, she checked with us each day to see if we needed anything - fresh towels, etc. Room & bathroom were extremely clean, thanks to Sophie & her team. Check-in instructions from Sophie were very clear & easy to follow, so we were able to access our room key after hours.
Would definitely stay here again!
Great location, just on the outskirts of Hahndorf and tucked away from the busy Main Street. House was cozy and had absolutely everything we needed! Mandy went that little bit further and made sure there were lollies and choccys for the kids upon arrival. Highly recommend and I dare say we will be back again. Thanks guys!
Great location in Hahndorf's Main St, walking distance to everything, shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, galleries and Beerenberg Farm and right in the heart of this picturesque village. Simple but comfortable accommodation for my tour group of 10 guests.
A fantastic little place - very clean and tidy. Pretty little apartment in the most perfect location in Hahndorf. Walk to everything. Highly recommend and super friendly staff to help with check in.
